How did they develop their Anti-Blister System™? It all started back in 1988 with a dad trying to help his son improve his sports performance. The son was suffering from blisters created by the back and forth motion required for running, quick maneuvers and repetitive motions. The more his son practiced, the more blisters he got from the friction and chafing of his socks. That dad was Jerry Wrightenberry, a second-generation hosiery manufacturer. When he saw that the blisters were hindering his son Joey's performance, he realized his son didn't have the right equipment.
