Amy Bracey

Amy is an APC Assessor and Chair, and has supported APC candidates for over 10 years. She specialises in the Commercial Real Estate and Corporate Real Estate pathways, although she also has experience in various others. Amy enjoys demystifying the APC process and supporting candidates with all stages of the process from enrolment to attending the final assessment interview. Amy is also a practicing lease advisory surveyor, acting for investors and occupiers of commercial property across the south west of England.

Craig Clark

Craig is our first-line response to initial enquiries as well as working behind the scenes to maintain a smooth process for clients, participants, and our team. They handle all manner of enquiries, helpfully discussing the candidate's requirements, what courses are available and how best to accommodate their needs. Craig puts together and sends out the course information and maintains contact with potential participants through the entirety of their course journey - from enquiry to registration, to onboarding and beyond. They take great pride in ensuring that each participant is individually cared for. He's previously worked professionally as an Internal Communications Officer for an international disability charity (Leonard Cheshire Disability), writing communications and comms planning for chief executive and senior staff. His career experience also includes logistics coordination for Oxfam retail and production at BBC Radio 2 (Assistant Producer, Chris Evans Drivetime). He holds an LLB from Lancaster University and an MA in Art and Politics from Goldsmiths, University of London. Craig provides the essential admin behind the delivery and development of our courses and is often the first point of contact. They are an experienced learning administrator and are proud of the support they give to our clients. John began APC assessing in 1999 and is a regular panel Chair and Assessor of APC and Senior Professional assessments. He has delivered APC training and coaching since 2011 and finds it rewarding to help the confidence of candidates increase as the final assessment interview approaches. After 16 years working for two large private practice firms in central London, John moved to the south coast in 1999. While working as a Director at Savills he became involved with graduate support for APC candidates, and since setting up his own business in 2011 he has trained and mentored several APC candidates working for regional and local firms. John is a practising Chartered Surveyor specialising in commercial property landlord & tenant negotiations, lease advisory consultancy work and dispute resolution. He is a rent review arbitrator and independent expert on the RICS President's panel and has previously held positions on the RICS Dispute Resolution Professional Group and the RICS South West Regional Board. John likes to keep active outside of work. He is a licensed guide runner for visually impaired runners, a frequent participant at Parkrun, a trail run competitor, an enthusiastic tennis player and a regular touch-rugby player.

Miles Keeping

As well as being an APC Assessor, Panel Chair and coach, Miles is also the director of the company with whom the buck stops. He has worked in private practice as a Partner or Director of a number of leading real estate consultancies and has had responsibility for managing internal graduate and APC programmes. Miles particularly enjoys seeing the candidates he coaches develop in confidence and professionalism.

Ralph Charlwood

Ralph is an experienced RICS APC Chair, assessor, auditor and appeals panel member. He started by helping friends who didn't have access to a graduate structured training scheme pass their APC back in the early 1990s and has had a passion for coaching and training others ever since. His professional experience spans a range of practice areas including property finance, investment management, financial modelling, corporate real estate and many of the Commercial Real Estate disciplines. Ralph started his career at JLL (then JLW) as a summer student and graduate trainee and over 10 years gained experience in: rating; property management; leasing; investment management, and; investment agency. In 2000 he joined Regus (IWG plc) and gained international corporate real experience in all markets outside UK and USA. In 2003, whilst also undertaking a part-time MBA he moved into commercial real estate finance, joining GMAC Commercial Mortgage. In 2007 he joined a start-up real estate debt originator and manager, which grew into a £3.5bn AUM business when sold to ICG plc in 2015. In his spare time, Ralph is an ambassador for Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research, having himself suffered a spinal injury aged 26. A lifelong Chelsea fan he runs a successful property industry quiz for the charity. He is married to Sarah, a wine expert, has a cocker spaniel called Millie, and shares his time between west London and West Wittering on the Sussex coast. He has found a new interest in repairing pottery and ceramics and volunteers at a local repair café.
