The current owner of United Technologies 24 Ltd has always worked in the fire detection industry, which has taken him through all elements from maintenance engineer, to commissioning engineer, projecting and running a successful business including global experiences... Following his return from the Middle East in 1990 he was advised by his employer that they would be closing the business down within a 12-month period and he was subsequently made redundant; at that time, he made a decision to set up his own business. Through agreement with his employer he was able to approach their existing client database for new direct contracts.
