Abbie Wright

Abbie started her career in Financial Services with Aegon after successfully obtaining a first-class honours degree in Business Management in 2013. She was then approached to join St. James's Place in 2020, working as part of the business development team supporting Financial Advisers in selecting the most suitable investment management approach for their clients. Throughout her career Abbie has always had a passion for people. She cares deeply about others and her emphasis is on maintaining and building long term relationships. She believes trust is the most important foundation to any relationship and is always present when her clients need her. Outside of work, Abbie enjoys keeping fit, spending quality time with family and friends, and she loves to travel, her favourite country being Italy. She loves to give back to her local community through volunteering or raising money for charity. Her biggest achievement was running the London Marathon and raising £9000 for the British Heart Foundation, a charity very important to her.

Alex Aldridge

Alex has been in Financial Services for over five years now and joined St. James's Place in 2018. He provides holistic and authentic advice to various individuals and businesses, helping them with practical solutions to the financial matters that concern them most. His advice covers all areas of Wealth Management including, Retirement Planning, Investment Planning, Protection Planning and Protection Planning. Recently, Alex has enhanced his advice proposition with a new qualification and is now a Pension Specialist. His emphasis is on maintaining a long-term relationship with his clients and to provide them with a source of trusted advice, as their financial needs evolve over the years. Alex became a Financial Adviser because he has a passion to help people make sense of their finances. He loves building relationships with his clients and their families, to help them plan their financial futures. When he's not working, Alex enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing golf and watching football.

Ben Hall - Managing Director

Ben Hall's entire career has been in the world of finance, starting as a cashier with Halifax when he was 17, becoming one of their youngest and most successful financial advisers in the country a year later.In 2012, Ben was invited to become an Associate Partner Practice at St. James's Place. Two years later he became a Partner Practice and founded Hall & Costello Wealth Management Ltd.

Casey Bridge

Casey is a keen Mortgage Adviser looking to develop and grow his client base within Hall & Costello Wealth Management. Over the last 3-years as a Mortgage Adviser he has exceeded expectations and cannot wait to see what the future holds for him. His aim is to advise clients on the best mortgage product and lender for them. Casey believes that by really getting to know his clients' personal situation and requirements he can help them to make the most suitable and informed decision. Whether that is re-mortgaging and saving them money, or purchasing their dream home, he is always happy to help. Outside of work Casey follows and plays football, golf and loves to keep fit.

Chris Bush

Chris has been involved in financial services for 20 years and in that time he's held a variety of roles from advising clients to managing a team of advisors. In October of last year Chris decided to come back to giving advice to clients as he realised that building a long term relationship with people, find out what is important to them and help build financial security for them and their families was what he enjoyed doing, and he believed that Hall & Costello was the best place for him to do this. Outside of work when Chris isn't running around after his 2 children, Eddie and Grace, he enjoys spending quality time with his partner Mel and their family and friends. Chris is more than happy with a glass of wine and some great company. Chris also enjoys all sports and next year will be running the Brighton Marathon as he is attempting to fulfil a pledge to do at least one marathon every year in his 40's!

Danielle Lecomber

Danielle joined St. James's Place in 2013, keen to carve out a career in finance. She is now a Chartered Financial Planner and her ethos is to give personal and bespoke advice to each and every client; something Danielle thrives on. She believes everyone has the right to understand and achieve financial literacy, independence and ultimately; empowerment. She believes this comes from having the confidence to understand and manage their finances to enable them control and power to be self-reliant and make decisions with the knowledge needed to do so. Bespoke and tailored advice, where a long-term relationship is nurtured is at the heart of her business. Danielle aims to offer a personal and bespoke service to all her clients regardless of their finances - to help them plan for their best futures, giving them security and confidence that they are on the right path to financial independence. In 2015 she was shortlisted for a young achievers' award, and in 2021 was nominated for the Women in Financial Advice Awards for her work in finance - a great accomplishment for her and an asset to the company. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys travel and reading. She has hundreds of books and before starting her finance career, she travelled extensively, which gave her the bug. She's always looking for her next travel adventure to explore new places and cultures.

Danny Clements

Danny has over 15 years' experience in various roles within St. James's Place and is our Senior Advice Manager. He is responsible for advice curation, supporting our large advising team with advice propositions to clients, ensuring that these are both compliant and the best advice that we can possibly offer, based on individual circumstances. Danny also leads our Paraplanning team, personally specialising in all areas of Retirement Planning including safeguarded benefits and final salary pension transfers. He has extensive experience of working with Professional Clients and their very specific and unique requirements, as well as being very well versed in all areas of Inheritance Tax Planning.

Domonic Stephens

Emma Parsons

Having spent over a decade within Digital Technology and Marketing sector as a Senior Account Director, driving business strategy and understanding clients business objectives, Emma decided to move into the Finance industry to help people with their own personal objectives and lifestyle planning, as well as continuing to support businesses with their financial planning. Emma has undertaken a rigorous training programme with the St. James's Place Academy and obtained her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning in under a year, joining the Hall & Costello Practice in 2021. Emma prides herself on building strong client relationships and feels passionate about providing tailored ongoing advice so her clients have the confidence and peace of mind that she can support them at every stage of their financial planning journey. "Financial stability and lifestyle planning has always been very important to me, and something that I am privileged to be able to help others with." Away from the office, Emma loves going for long walks in the countryside or along the beautiful Kent coastline, socialising with friends and seeing loved ones.

Gavin McGhee

Throughout his career at St. James's Place Gavin has been recognised as a highly experienced and business focussed Investment Specialist providing technical expertise and consultancy skills to leading Wealth Management businesses in the UK and Asia. Recognised as being able to convey complex ideas & concepts clearly & succinctly he is highly valued for his seminar speaking and one to one meetings both in the UK and overseas.

Georgia Drew

I have worked in financial services for over two years and during this time I have completed two of my six exams, towards obtaining a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. Since joining Hall and Costello in 2021, I have progressed from an Apprentice to a Paraplanner. My role within the team involves reviewing the advice delivered by our trusted Advisers, from a paraplanning perspective, applying my technical knowledge to certain tasks and composing suitability reports. In the last year I have worked closely with the managing director, Ben, and senior financial adviser, Danielle, looking closely at the advice they have delivered. This has been an enriching experience and has given me a great foundation to begin my career. Away from work, I enjoy travelling to new places and spending time with my friends and loved ones. This includes walks with my beloved Golden Retriever, Sonny. From a young age, I have participated in dance performances and continue to do so now.

Grace Hilling

Grace has recently joined the team at Hall and Costello following a career in musical theatre. She supports two advisers with their day to day admin, and assisting clients with any queries. Outside of work she enjoys performing, coaching musical theatre, and spending time with her family and friends.

Jack Ivory

Jack first joined Hall & Costello in 2018. Since then, he has completed his Honours Degree In Economics and Finance at Queen Mary University of London and qualified with the Chartered Insurance Institute in both Regulated Financial Planning and Mortgage Advice. Jack ran 31 Marathons over 34 Days to raise money for the St. James's Place Charitable Foundation, who supports disadvantaged children, cancer patients, hospices and mental health charities. Jack understands everybody's relationship with their finances is personal to them, so he takes the time to understand what his clients want and then works with them to put a clear, tailored financial plan in place. Outside of work, Jack enjoys going to the gym, playing sports like tennis, golf, and football, and also traveling. Jack recently climbed the UK's 3 Peaks and his next challenge is to complete a 54-mile walk around London, completing the Monopoly board in order.

James Westfpel

I have over 23 years experience in the financial service industry. I started my career in 1998 at Nationwide Building Society, where I was promoted through the many internal roles such as Cashier, Personal Banking Manager and Branch Manager in locations across London and Kent. In this time I gained exceptional knowledge in a wide range of Products/services such as banking, Mortgages, credit cards, General Insurances and Financial Planning. I personally delivered excellent customer service both individually to our clients and through the teams that I managed. I coached and trained many teams in holding meaningful and skilful conversations to deliver value to our clients. I was made redundant in August 2021, But I instantly knew the journey I wanted to take and that was to be a Financial Adviser. I completed the DipFA qualification in 2021 and this will now allow me to challenge myself further and take my client service to a much higher level. I will now be able provide Financial Advice which in turn will allow me to make a difference to peoples lives, making their dreams a reality. I have now joined Hall & Costello Wealth Management a Senior Partner Practice Of St James's Place as a Financial Adviser. In my spare time I enjoy holidays abroad, football, golf and socialising with friends and family.

Janice Williams

Janice has worked as part of the client services team here at Hall and Costello since 2017, and has enjoyed watching the company go from strength to strength during her time here. Janice supports the team during the initial administration process, and she finds this role enriching as she's able to assist in many ways and support her colleagues where possible. Janice is affectionately known as the Womble, the reason being that she upcycles wherever possible and making use of things that would be discarded. This includes baking for her colleagues in her spare time. She also takes great pride in her garden and taking care of her loved ones.

Joanne Williams

Joanne became our Practice Manager in mid-2017, with a career in management as her foundation and progressed to Head of Finance & Operations in line with the growth of the business. Her early career was spent in the City of London as a personal assistant in equity & acquisitions. Following this was 12 years in various financial management roles. She's responsible for the whole team at Hall & Costello, with an overview on the day-to-day running and processes of the practice. Joanne has travelled through Asia, spent two years living in Australia and has interests in fitness and wellbeing.

Jon Hall

Jon is an experienced individual with over 14 year's experience in Finance & Banking. He's worked in roles within the Retail, Private Banking & Corporate Finance sectors. After an entire career with Large Corporates, Jon decided to direct his passion for providing advice towards a role with a more personal and tailored touch. Jon's commercial finance background has provided him the knowledge and expertise in order to support SME's & Business owners. Jon began Advising for Hall & Costello in 2022 after graduating from the well reputed St. James's Place Academy. Personally, Jon is a keen sportsman, having played Golf at County level & still representing his local football team. When he's not playing sport in his spare time, he'll be spending his time trying to tire his dog out on a long countryside walk.

Julie Coy

Julie joined SJP in 2017 and has worked with several advisers along the way. When Julie joined Hall & Costello she started as PA to three advisers and is now Executive Assistant to Ben Hall taking care of his client's business and investments. Since working alongside Ben, the role has evolved and Julie has enjoyed learning about the advice process as well as Trusts, IHT, ITS, and VCT's. Away from work Julie likes being outside in the garden or paddleboarding and enjoys travelling with family and friends, both abroad as well as in the UK.

Lisa joined the Hall & Costello family in 2019, newly arrived from South Africa, with 25 years of experience as an Executive Assistant. Lisa has been thrilled to bring these skills and experience to Hall & Costello, which has led to further exciting opportunities when she became the Compliance and Client Servicing Manager. As Lisa head towards my 4 th year within the Practice, she is excited to grow and keep having fun with this wonderful team! Her focus will continue to be keeping our client's safe by ensuring we stay sufficiently compliant and implementing and upkeeping systems and structures that aid in giving our clients the best service. In Lisa's private time she relishes time with her children, her pets, spending time in nature and planning new and exciting outings, adventures and travels.

Samantha Whiddett

Sam has been with Hall and Costello since 2021. Sam is in the process of taking her exams and working towards becoming a level 4 qualified paraplanner, we are keen to help her continue to develop her career as a Paraplanner within Hall and Costello.

Siobhan Heard

Siobhan offers a fully holistic service with the help from my fantastic colleagues at Hall and Costello Wealth Management, with many of my clients turning into friends. She specialises in Adverse Credit, First Time Buyers and Self Employed clients, and also have vast knowledge on the Buy to Let Market with helping my existing clients to grow their portfolios. Siobhan understands the importance of family and the security of owning your own home. She believes being able to support her clients buy their dream homes, along with the relevant protection, truly is the perfect job. On a personal note, Siobhan is a mother to two beautiful children and enjoy spending quality moments together as a family along with our two French Bullldogs, Roxy and Buddy. She loves to travel, and her aim over the next few years is to tick a few more destinations off the map.

Thomas Shaw

Thomas has spent his entire career working in financial services, initially working within the major high street banks - Lloyds, Barclays and HSBC in roles including business financial consultant, commercial financial planner and international commercial manager. Wanting to break away from the large corporate world he joined Hall & Costello in Autumn 2018 as a Financial Consultant, after spending five years away from financial advice, working within the international commercial finance sector. Sharing the company's ethos of delivering personal and bespoke service, Thomas works with clients to develop long-term relationships which include ensuring all aspects of their finances and financial planning keeps up with their changing personal circumstances. Thomas' commercial finance background has given him the ability to work across the personal and commercial sectors with particular strengths in advising on tax planning, pensions and shareholder agreements. Away from the office, Thomas is the Chairman of St. Lawrence & Highland Court Cricket Club in Canterbury. He plays a range of sports and gets away to the mountains to go snowboarding whenever he can.
