Andrew Coombs - Chief Commercial Officer

Andrew joined HCA Healthcare UK in November 2016 as Commercial Director. He is responsible for HCA UK's relationships and commercial arrangements with insurers and other business partners, as well as for our activities supporting international patients coming to the UK for treatment. Andrew's previous roles include Managing Director at AXA PPP International and Finance Director at AXA PPP Healthcare. He is a Chartered Accountant, and spent 10 years at KPMG in the London and Hong Kong offices. Back to Management Team

Catherine is HCA UK's Vice President of Legal Services, with responsibility for the provision of legal support across the HCA UK group, as well as for data protection. Catherine plays a key role in ensuring that ethical and lawful behaviour is at the centre of our pursuit of business objectives.
Catherine began her legal career at Capsticks Solicitors, widely acknowledged as legal experts in the health and social care sector. Prior to joining HCA UK, Catherine was the General Counsel and Company Secretary at BMI Healthcare, where she worked for over 13 years.
Catherine has diverse experience including in joint ventures, hospital acquisitions and disposals, governance, contracts, clinical trials, claims and data protection, as well as in managing insurance. Catherine has also led the legal response to a number of regulatory inspections and enquiries.

Cindy has been HCA Healthcare UK's Chief Financial Officer since May 2019. Cindy is responsible for finance, revenue management, IT and property.
Cindy trained as an accountant, commencing her career in accountancy and auditing. Cindy has delivered leadership for HCA's financial divisions and overseen a number of key strategic growth initiatives.

Cliff is HCA UK's Chief Medical Officer and provides leadership for our clinical services.
Before becoming Chief Medical Officer in 2017, Cliff was previously Cardiac Medical Director, and Chief Medical Officer at the London Bridge Hospital. Cliff also has an established cardiac practice at the London Bridge Hospital.
Cliff qualified from Westminster Medical School before becoming a Consultant Cardiologist at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He was appointed Clinical Director of Cardiology at Guy's Hospital and subsequently became Clinical Director of Cardiac Services for Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
Cliff has led the introduction of HCA's UK's clinical department structure and was cardiac special advisor to the Metropolitan Police and Chief Medical Officer for Royal and Sun Alliance insurance.

As HCA UK's President and Chief Executive Officer John leads all our company activities across the UK.
Prior to this John served as HCA UK's President of Operations, leading the teams who run our facilities and businesses. John also served as Chief Executive Officer of The Wellington Hospital, and before this Chief Executive Officer at London Bridge Hospital and The Lister Hospital.
John began his career in healthcare as an Associate General Manager with BUPA Hospitals, before working as Hospital Director at Parkside Hospital in Wimbledon.
John has led four hospital turn arounds and achieved two CQC outstanding inspection awards for the facilities under his leadership.

Neil is HCA UK's VP of Physician Services Group leading business development, consultant engagement and supporting doctors with their practices.
Prior to this Neil has served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Wellington Hospital, and before this Chief Executive Officer of The Harley Street Clinic, having previously held other senior leadership roles with HCA UK.
Neil trained as a Pharmacist beginning his career in healthcare as an Oncology Pharmacist. Neil also served as the Chief Executive of King's College Hospital in the United Arab Emirates.
Neil is a member of The Court of Patrons of The Royal College of Surgeons and a committee member of The Medical & Scientific Committee of The British Red Cross.
