I joined the Solent Grange nursing team in March 2021 as an RN, transitioning from Critical Care and Interventional Nephrology Nursing to Dementia Care. While initially overwhelming as an overseas RN adapting to the UK's health and social care ecosystem, I overcame challenges with the support of experienced colleagues and management. As a Clinical Lead Nurse, my role involves overseeing resident care, leading and mentoring our nursing team, and providing holistic dementia care that prioritises emotional, social, and mental well-being.
I joined the Solent Grange team as Maintenance Manager in September 2022. Prior to this, I worked in Maintenance within Manufacturing and Office environments for 12 years. It is a huge change of scenery but incredibly rewarding knowing everything I do helps towards keeping the residents safe and happy. Little things such as hanging their favourite picture on the wall give them a familiar and personal touch to their room, making them feel more at home.
I take great pleasure in creating and presenting amazing dishes for our residents. The satisfaction I receive whenever I hear a resident say they enjoyed the food is indescribable. I believe that the way in which food is presented plays an essential part of the residents' health & well-being. With much confidence, I can say I love my job!
I joined Future Care Group as Home Manager of Solent Grange in June 2021. I have a passion for providing quality care and encourage feedback from our clients, their loved ones and our staff to ensure we are constantly striving to be the best we can, by understanding the needs and wishes of everyone we encounter.
Other than the beautiful location, what drew me to the home was the welcoming and happy atmosphere. Our team of dedicated staff go above and beyond to promote a person centred service and seek opportunities to incorporate innovative ideas for the benefit of those we care for. I am proud of the busy activities programme we offer and love to see the positive effects this has on our clients and staff.
My name is Amanda Edwards, but I prefer Mandie. I have worked in the care sector for the last 24 years. I have joined Belmont Castle Care Home to develop and enhance my skills as a Deputy Manager. What I love about my job and the care industry is that every day is different, and I learn new things.
I am a mother of 4 sons and have a grandson, my youngest is an aspiring young footballer, and most of my spare time is spent going to matches and tournaments with his squad.
I have worked at Hamilton since 2003. I joined after starting a family and looking for a worthwhile return to work environment. Hamilton gave me that and more. It soon became apparent that I wanted to work in this environment building strong relationships with residents and their families. I count myself lucky to have been given the opportunity and proud to now be the Registered Manager. I love working with my staff who are a creative and caring group of people who share my passion for providing the highest quality of person-centred care to our residents.
I've worked as a Maintenance Manager at Holmwood for the last 22 years and enjoyed every aspect of it. My job ensures the residents live in a safe, well-maintained and pleasant environment. I combine health and safety, Fire Marshall, Fire Door assessments and general maintenance in my role. I am always happy to support and assist Maintenance Managers in other homes in the Future Care Group. As you can imagine, there is never a dull moment here at Holmwood. We try to keep the time light-hearted so that everyone enjoys being here.
I've worked at Stowford House for 3 years. I am responsible for health & safety, fire checks and all other general repairs. I enjoy the variety of my job and the different challenges it presents
I have worked with The Future Care Group for over two years. Initially, as Deputy Manager at Albany Lodge where I enjoyed the challenge of overseeing a large successful team who were dedicated to caring for over 100 residents within the home. Most recently I have been promoted to become the home manager of Acacia Care Centre and look forward to working with the team to achieve overall good in our next inspection report. As a nurse, I know the importance of delivering the very best care possible. I feel it is most important to involve our residents in creating their care plans to enable us to provide the care they want and need. When I am away from work, I relax by spending time with my family and enjoy reading, cooking and walks.
I have worked with the Future Care Group for 15 years, initially as a member of the housekeeping team. My extensive housekeeping experience enabled me to progress to the Head of Housekeeping role. My priority is to keep the home clean and hygienic to high standard with assistance of hard-working team of housekeepers. I enjoy daily interactions with our residents and their families which makes my work worthwhile. In my free time I love spending time with my grandchildren. I also like playing bingo and going away for breaks.
Hi, my name is Anna. I have worked in care for over 40 years. I am a Team Leader at Chestnut View Care Home and have worked here for 20 years. I enjoy my work very much, I also enjoy spending time with my family and my 4 grandchildren.
After working in the City as an Equities Analyst, Arnon has teamed up with Golden House to establish a care homes' operation in the UK. Since November 2013, the Group has grown through acquisitions and it now owns and operates 18 homes. Our aim is to bring fresh ideas to well-established businesses and industry as indicated in the Group's Vision, Mission and Values.
Arnon is very passionate about the idea behind the L.O.V.E (Living Our Values Everyday) award as it symbolises all that we are aiming to achieve in the Future Care Group.

Hi, my name is Arthur Krall and I have been working in the Brook House since 2013. I joined as a Laundry Assistant and grew into the position of Chef Manager.
Hi my name is Bear, I am the lifestyle lead at Albany Lodge Nursing Home. I have had quite a long career in Social Care in fact 32 years in total, which started when I was just 17 years old.
I started my career in care homes, and I realised that care was more of a vocation than occupation. I have gone on to work with several other client groups which include Mental Health, LD & PD, ABI. I have worked for the RNIB too. I started my career in 1991 as a care assistant, and over the years I have studied and worked hard to work my way up through the ranks until I succeeded and became an assistant home manager for ABI services. Social Care has always been my passion.
I joined Future Care in November last year as the main Receptionist. I was made aware of an opportunity to become the Lifestyle Lead here at Albany Lodge and having missed direct support level I thought I would go for this role and well… here I am the Lifestyle Lead, which really is the best job in the world and a real privilege to be here making a difference to peoples lives.
My name is Biba Mijalceva, and I am the newly appointed Deputy Manager at Priory Court Care Home.
I bring nearly 20 years of experience working with individuals living with acquired or traumatic brain injury, as well as neurological conditions in a hospital setting. Throughout my career, I have progressed from a junior nurse to senior nurse, ward sister, and ward manager, honing my knowledge, clinical skills, and abilities.
Prior to joining the Future Care Group, I served as a Deputy Manager for over 6 years in a privately funded residential care home. My professional journey has equipped me with a deep passion for my work, and I am always ready to face challenges.
I place a high value on honesty and transparency, believing in an open-door policy. In caring for our residents, I prioritise understanding, empathy, and an open mind. I am open to ideas that can enhance and make a positive difference in the lives of our community.

I left school at 15 years old and became a plasterer, a trade I stayed with for many years. I worked for various companies and eventually became self-employed for some time. I then entered into the refurbishment management sector, working for various companies. I was involved in many projects such as care homes and housing developments; some of these projects went on for five or six years.
I came to work to Priory Court in September 2015. I'd say the camaraderie with the staff is fantastic and I just love the warm and welcoming atmosphere here. It's very satisfying seeing everyone so happy and always helping each other.
I'm Chris, I manage our beautiful home. I enjoy motivating my team to provide outstanding quality care to our residents, and of course their family and friends.
I am a registered nurse, who specialises in special needs. I moved into a leadership role over 10 years ago, and have been a home manager for 15 years.
Chris graduated from the University of Wales with an MSc Econ in Demography. Chris then trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002.
Chris is accountable for all financial activities of the Future Care Homes and the establishment of a robust reporting and control environment across.
I chose to be a team member here because Cedar View is a fantastic home with great staff and facilities for residents and their families. I love building strong relationships with our residents, their families and my team. I feel great pride in my role as I know it makes a difference in people's lives. The best part of my role is creating moments of joy for our residents and helping them to overcome obstacles to fulfil their aims and wishes. My role is important because the well-being of our residents is at the core of everything we do.
My name is Debbie and I work at the front desk at Priory Court. I assist with both, reception and administration, and am always happy to help people.
My name is Debra Gledhill and I'm the Head of Housekeeping. I've been a part of Belmont's team for over 3 years now. We're one big family here and I enjoy every day working here.
I'm a mother of 3 and have 9 grandchildren. I enjoy my spare time spending with my big family and my pet dog. I also enjoy gardening activities.
I have worked at Kings Lodge in a variety of different roles and enjoy working and chatting with the elderly.

Having worked with an amazing team and being able to call my colleagues friends is an irreplaceable experience. I have been doing housekeeping nearly all my life and I really enjoy it. I applied for a position at Priory Court as I had never worked in a care home environment before and I thought it would be a challenge. When I got the job, I realised I was not wrong, but I absolutely love my job and it is the best choice I have ever made. I enjoy coming to work every day and I have been here over 2 years now and hope to be here for many more.
I joined the Solent Grange team in 2015 as an Assistant Cook. I have always worked in hospitality and have a passion for creating traditional home-cooked food. During my time as an Assistant Cook my passion grew for preparing individual meals for our residents.
In January 2022 the opportunity arose, and I became Kitchen Manager. My role involves creating nutritionally balanced menus and maintaining a five-star safe environment for food to be prepared and eaten.
I have been working at Brook House since January 2019 as a housekeeper. I enjoy my job in every way and I love spending time with all the residents. I also take great pride in creating and maintaining a clean, tidy and safe home for residents and their guests to enjoy.
When I am at home, I love spending time with my family. I have two beautiful daughters that I am very proud of. One of my biggest passions is horse riding. My favourite activity is to take my horses Freddie and Eddie to Richmond park for a ride.
Hi, I'm Erica. I have been the Lifestyle Lead at Oaklands House since December 2018. My team of 4 staff share a philosophy of engagement and fun. We love to hear residents laugh and are proud of how, irrespective of disability, all of our residents join in. We use a person-centred approach to enable people to have moments of joy and meaning.
I am a First Level Registered Nurse (General Adult) and have been working for 20 years across different organisations in UK. All of which is in a nursing home. I have been a Home Manager as well as Deputy Manager. I have worked in the Adults' Social and Health Care Department for 5 years. I love working with the residents and their families, and making sure that I support the residents to meet their needs.

I am Firmo Agoncillo, and I am excited to introduce myself as the Head Chef at Bourne House Nursing Home. In 1999, I successfully obtained my NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Catering/Hospitality from West Thames College. Additionally, I have earned the Supervising Food Safety in Catering Level 3 Award. With over two decades of experience, I have worked as a Chef in five different care homes throughout England, starting in 1996.
Hi, I am Florin Albu. I started working with Bourne House Nursing Home in 2016 and my journey since then has been phenomenal. As a maintenance coordinator, my responsibilities involve maintaining the facility internally and externally and to ensure that anything and everything is safe and in working order. My fellow colleagues and management have always been supportive and it makes me feel like we are all one family.
I am the Lifestyle Lead here at Hamilton. My role involves leading activities to keep our residents busy and planning social events.

My Name is Isabel Nyirenda. I am the home manager at Cedar View Care Centre. I have been working in healthcare, both the NHS and the Private Sector for many years. I qualified as a Registered General nurse in 1993. My name is Jemima Chowdhury, and I am the Administration Manager at Belmont Castle Care Home. My role is to support the home manager and deal with staffing, residency, and financial processes within the home. I have a BSc in Psychology and a MSc in Health Psychology and have worked in the health sector since 2018. I am family orientated and spend a lot of my time out and about with my family. I also love to read, draw, and occasionally bake!
I have been working at Kings Lodge for over 5 years. My responsibility includes planning menus, overseeing meal presentation and cook to the dietary requirements of the residents. I enjoy cooking and ensuring that the residents are happy.
I left school in 1979 with a view to becoming a chef; I left school when I was sixteen and went to the College in Ireland to study business. I started work in the care sector, the love of cooking came to the fore as I began to see there was more to catering for the elderly than I had given credit for. I recognized very quickly this was my forte as it were, and it was.
For a while, I wanted to train as a social worker and go to university as I had a strong desire to help and care for elderly people. Unfortunately, this did not happen as finances would not permit this venture. However, working in the care sector was a way to carry out of my desire to help others.
In 1992, I moved down to York in North Yorkshire as an area catering manager for a private care group. I stayed in this role for three years and was in charge of two homes. I then moved on to the MS Society respite care center in York as Chef Manager. I stayed in this role for 23 years.
Transferring down south, I became Chef Manager at the MS Society home in Horley. In time, the home was bought by St Cloud Care, and in 2014, I transferred to Priory Court to be Chef Manager.
Before progressing to Head of Housekeeping at Holmwood, I was a laundry assistant for over 2 years. I always enjoyed my position at this care home and was keen to progress!
I have a fantastic team, staff and residents are always smiling and supporting each other.
Every day is unique and rewarding. I will be happy to stay here for a long time!

I am a Team Leader and Brook House's Dementia Champion. I enjoy working alongside a great team of people who take time in their roles to offer a Person-Centred approach to Care and work closely with our residents to ensure they live in a Happy, Safe and Comfortable home.
I have always had a keen interest in Dementia and Brain Injury after my Brain Tumor was operated on and successfully removed in 2002. I feel this has brought me a natural empathy and understanding of people and their symptoms and side effects, and l feel this helps me in my role as Dementia Champion. I joined The Future Care Group in 2019 as l could see the company has a good reputation for Dementia Care and strive to improve their Quality of Care, along with their Core Care Values, which are promoted and lived every day within their homes.
My name is Kellie Shiers and I am the Administration Manager of Stowford House Care Home. I have worked at the Home for 3 years, starting my journey with the admin team.
I found Stowford House while looking for 24-hour care for my Grandparents who I was caring for at home. As soon as I met the team, I knew I not only wanted my Grandparents to live here, I wanted to join the team and be part of making a difference to people's futures.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my little boy doing various activities like baking and crafts. I also enjoy playing/listening to music, singing and reading.
Hello, I'm Kim. I have been the Administration Manager at Holmwood for 18 years and have previously worked in Personnel Admin before taking time off to have a family.
I enjoy working in an environment that is challenging and rewarding, which is why I love Holmwood! The residents are wonderful here and I love being a part of their lives every day. There is a good team at Holmwood with quite a few members of staff who have been here for a number of years. This makes for a solid base for our work at Holmwood.

My name is Lea, and I work as a receptionist here, at Albany Lodge Nursing Home. We have a great team here and I enjoy working alongside such kind and lovely people each day.
I have had a long career within the care sector for over 20 years. I started my career in 2003 as a health care assistant and then became a carer. I then went on to be an activities coordinator. I have worked and studied hard to work my way up the ranks, such as senior healthcare assistant, and then become a team leader. After many years in different roles within the care sector, I became a receptionist/administrator, which I really enjoy.
I joined Solent Grange Nursing Home in February 2022. I have worked in care for 10 years now. After lockdown, it was a real eye-opener for me being able to spend lots of extra time with residents and really getting to know them. When the opportunity came along at Solent Grange to be part of the activities team, I was so pleased to take the job! Now all of my focus can be on the residents and on making their days amazing, putting a smile on their faces and getting to hear all their different life stories. I love making their days as jammed-packed as possible and organizing outings so they can get out and about. I thrive off trying to make a difference to the residents and being supportive.

I have been working at Priory Court for nearly 13 years now. I started working as a care assistant with no experience on the residential unit and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the residents and working with them. This encouraged me to achieve my NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care. After a couple of years I was promoted to a senior care assistant on the nursing unit. This helped me gain more knowledge to complete my NVQ Level 3.
I was then promoted to Senior Care Officer and transferred back to the Residential Unit. I was a Senior Care Officer for around 6 six years before finding the confidence in myself to accomplish NVQ Level 5 in Management and Leadership in Health and Social Care.
2 years later I am now the Head of Residential Services for Priory Court. Although the role can be very challenging at times, I still enjoy working with and developing relationships with the residents, their families.
My journey as a Care Home Administrator began in 2017. I have been a part of an outstanding team, and I hope to create the same vital impact at Brook House. It is fulfilling and satisfying to provide high-quality care and service to the clients/residents. I am excited to share my knowledge and experience with the team of Brook House. It is an honour to be part of a fantastic team here where everyone is one big family.

Hi I am Marcus, I joined Hamilton Nursing Home in November 2022. I have 14 years of experience working in Construction and Maintenance roles.

Hello, I'm Martina, and I'd like to introduce myself. I'm a member of the Administration team, primarily stationed at our reception area. I'm typically the first point of contact when you visit Oaklands. I moved to the UK from Slovakia 16 years ago and joined Oaklands two and a half years ago as a night healthcare assistant. My passion for meeting new people and assisting families in maintaining their connections led me to make a career change and join the Administration team at Oaklands. I'm part of a three-person team under the leadership of Sally Ware. It's my pleasure to help you stay connected with your loved ones or guide you to other team members who can address your inquiries.
Since joining the team at Stowford House in 2018, I have gained experience working in a variety of pubs and restaurants. My job is very rewarding as I get to see the residents smile when they eat the meals prepared by me! No two days are the same as Stowford. I love daily interactions with the residents and colleagues.
I have worked at Stowford House for 7 years. I took on the role as Head Housekeeper after starting off working as a Kitchen Assistant. Stowford is a friendly place to work and we are one big family. I enjoy my role as Administration Manager, it's fast paced, and every day is different. It's important for me to ensure that all paperwork is completed and up to date. I enjoy interacting with staff, residents and relatives and being able to provide help and support where I can.
My name is Nadia, and I am pleased to introduce myself as a dedicated professional with eight years of experience serving as a receptionist at Albany. In addition to my professional role, I am also a multitasking mother.
I joined the Solent Grange Team in June 2023. Prior to this, I spent over 30 years in the Travel Industry, holding various roles in customer service management and administration. Seeking a new challenge, I gladly embraced the opportunity to work within the care sector.
I love helping and connecting with new people, making the current department a perfect fit for showcasing my excellent customer service skills. Each day brings new learning opportunities, and I thoroughly enjoy gaining knowledge and undergoing training.
Since joining Stowford House when it opened in 2011, I have enjoyed every day! Days are always different, and I enjoy making sure our residents are healthy and cared for.
When I'm not at work I enjoy gardening and spending time with my family.
I started my career in Healthcare at the age of 17, joining the Ambulance Service where I trained and qualified as a Paramedic. My career in healthcare has been varied with time spent in the Ambulance Service, Repatriation Services, NHS Hospitals and Nursing Homes.
I am very proud of the team we have here at Brook House. I know that they provide care to our residents just as they would wish for their own family members.
I have been a nurse since 2012 and I am registered in the Philippines and the United Kingdom. I have gained professional skills and knowledge in various areas of nursing, such as labor and delivery, accident and emergency, acute stroke, and colorectal-urology. I am passionate about providing quality and compassionate patient care and enhancing my clinical competencies through continuous learning and development.
Recently, I have joined Hamilton Nursing Home as a Deputy Manager, responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures, as well as facilitating effective communication and collaboration among staff, patients, and families. I also participate in clinical audits, training, and mentoring to ensure the delivery of safe and high-quality care. I enjoy working with a diverse and dedicated team that shares my values and vision for excellence in care.
When I am not at work, I enjoy staying at home with a good book or out playing badminton with my club.

Hello, my name is Rachel and I am the Home Manager here at Holmwood Care Centre. I am a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of practice, my professional background is in End-of-Life Care and Hospice Care.
Prior to joining the Future Care Group, I worked as a Registered Manager in the Worcestershire area, looking after residents with a variety of individual needs.
I believe in providing the best care possible for our residents, creating a welcoming home form home environment whist ensuring each person's individual needs are met with dignity and respect.

I trained, qualified and practised as a registered nurse here at Acacia Lodge. I loved providing care to our residents to ensure their health and well-being was a priority. I progressed to become Lead Nurse, and just over 2 years ago when the position for Deputy Manager became open, I applied as I wanted to provide a more holistic approach to our residents care, and take on all aspects other than their physical well-being. I now have a joint role.
My job is important as I'm responsible for making sure both residents and staff are happy. Acacia Lodge feels like my second home, we have a great team, hard-working but still relaxed. We support our staff in every way, whether it be matters within the home or personally, we are just one big ‘Acacia Lodge Family'.
In my spare time, I love nothing more than spending time with my own family, going out for walks with my dogs, cooking and dress-making!

I also am responsible for the training of our staff to ensure their knowledge and skill set is maintained so our residents receive the highest quality of care. I've been with the company two years after a complete carer change of 16 years of retail. I joined the Future Care Group as a HCA then progressed to a senior and now I'm the administration manager, over my time with the company I have built up relationships with families over their loved ones and now I'm the contact for them as they contact the home. My role is fast paced and each day is different.
I'm Sarah, the Head of Catering! I have been at Oaklands for 21 years, where I actually started as a Carer. I often helped in the kitchen where I was mentored by the chef and began to learn about food preparation, diet and nutrition. I progressed to Chef and now Head Chef, and I am proud of my achievement and running our team.
We are always looking for ways to make food interesting, irrespective of dietary need. As a keen Baker I love to try out new recipes. I have a team of 5 chefs and kitchen assistants all of which are focused on providing a positive meal time experience.
I started working at Solent Grange in September 2021 as a Team Leader and was soon promoted to Head of Care.

Having served as a Care Home Manager and Regional Support Manager has empowered me to provide individualised person-centered care for my residents, fostering strong relationships with staff, relatives, and stakeholders, and serving as inspiration for others.

I have over 20 years' experience of working in maintenance engineering. Throughout my career I developed a wide range of skills in plumbing, electrical, locksmith, painting and general building maintenance. We have a great team here, at Acacia Care Centre. I particularly enjoy liaising with residents and their relatives which enables me to make repairs in a timely manner and keep our residents comfortable. Outside of my work life I like spending time with my family and skydiving.

Sue is a Registered Nurse and a Florence Nightingale Scholar and has spent the last 26 years working at Bupa UK. During that time, she was a Home Manager, a Quality and Compliance Manager, Consultant Nurse and Professional Standards Manager.
Sue joined Future Care in March 2019 as she felt the Vision, Mission and Values reflect her own beliefs that everyone living in our homes deserve to be recognised as an individual and receive care and support specific to their own needs and wishes.
I joined Solent Grange Nursing Home in April 2023 after working in the Funeral Industry for over 20 years. I find interacting with the Residents and their families very rewarding, and I've built good relationships with them. The job is always interesting because no two days are the same.

When the opportunity arose I applied for the role immediately. My manager has been my mentor and adviser and has encouraged me to keep the momentum going with everything I plan. Thelma nominated me for the care home awards in 2018 and I made it to the final seven. A proud moment!
