Adrian Woodstock

Adrian has 20 years of experience in senior management and director roles in UK, corporate and European operations within software and professional services. Most notably he spent 12 years at JBA International plc (now Infor), a UK business that became a top 5 global REP vendor where he took the lead in turning underperforming business units into growing and profitable divisions. His industry experience includes IT, technology, drinks, retail, distribution and logistics Combining his passion and experience Adrian moved into leadership and people development in 2006. His focus is on helping leadership teams on leading change supported by applied learning programmes to develop talent and leadership capabilities in a pragmatic and practical way.

Nigel Randall - Managing Director

Nigel is a business consultant and trainer with an excellent track record in developing people and profitable business. He began his working life as a Field Sales Representative in advertising and publishing and progressed to three Sales & Marketing Director roles in print, IT and waste management. He was responsible for all the Vendor partner programmes at a major IT reseller and fully understands selling through complex UK and European multi-level channels. With considerable experience in a number of industries and a desire to put these skills to the best use he formed his own consultancy in 1996 and now leads the growing team at First Touch as owner and Managing Director. His workshops are totally interactive and he is known for his skills in developing business through effective "activity engines" that drive growth on the back of the highest service levels. He has also developed several really effective coaching programmes including Aspiring Leaders which has seen a number of people rise through the ranks to become successful senior leaders. He enjoys all sports, was an active cricketer and is a long time Chelsea fan

Phil Jesson

Phil started his career as a 20 year-old Army officer. His move to sales and marketing was "second-nature as the same four strategies applied - offence, defence, alliance and deterrence." He ran Rentokil's sales and service operations in London and launched a new UK publishing company for the German media giant, Bertelsmann before joining the Swedish consultancy, Mercuri International. Phil went on to form his own consultancy and has experience in several industries including Logistics, manufacturing, distribution, utilities and finance. A key account expert and speaker Phil has worked at home and abroad and is equally at home with blue chips and SMEs. Phil believes that people hate to be taught but love to learn. All sessions are therefore high on group work, discussion and feedback and low on theory. Where possible, he involves people in the creation of the policies and plans that are going to affect them in the workplace. He has also published his own book on Key Account Management, a specialist subject for Phil and one where he has enjoyed a great deal of success. In his spare time he plays the drums and watches Aston Villa.

Ron Mundy

Ron is an experienced trainer and public speaker known for his energetic, humorous and inspirational presentations filled with personal stories and anecdotes. He is an original and innovative thinker, who combines intuition and logic and can simplify the most complicated concept. As well as being an expert trainer he has also held senior level sales and marketing positions in global organisations. His practical sales experience has covered twenty years in IT and Telecommunications including, Audio Visual Solutions, Telephone Systems, Voicemail, and Video Conferencing. This experience allows Ron to adapt to the different situations and requirements of our in-company clients as well as being able to relate the material on our open programmes to specific situations relevant to our delegates. In 1996 Ron joined the Chartered Institute of marketing and for many years has delivered courses for this recognised national supplier of training and development. As the original founder of First Touch Training Ron remains a key player in the organisation with his consistent delivery of enjoyable and highly effective workshops. He has trained hundreds of people nationwide and maintains contact with many of his delegates.

Simon Kelly

After a sales and marketing career in aerospace, electronics and banking, Simon Kelly now works as a consultant, facilitator and trainer with the sole aim of helping leaders and management teams effectively turn strategy into action by developing their commercial, financial and strategic leadership skills and understanding. Over the past 25 years he has worked across a wide variety of international businesses and has built a reputation for workshops and coaching that is practical, topical and highly participative. He helps leaders appreciate "why" their businesses are changing by broadening their financial and strategic understanding of the business imperatives that are driving change, as well as helping them develop and adopt the appropriate commercial leadership behaviours to generate and capture value. Whenever possible, he always use the client's own financial statements and accounts to give real context and relevance to his workshops and coaching activities. Simon is a Group Scout Leader and enjoys hillwalking and jazz.
