AGRI-TECH - Key Persons
Overall Business Manager, Alan manages Yorkshire, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire during the summer months with the Irrigation Management service. However his key role is heading up the Precision Farming arm of the business, this being a rapidly expanding area. Alan's previous Precision farming experience at farm level enables him to take a practical approach to this subject, and provide unrivalled support to the Company's Precision Farming clients.
Angela joined us in September 2018 and fills the role of Office Manager, responsible for the smooth running of our Base at Shefford. Angela looks after all bookings and smooth running of the Company's Precision Farming Services, as well as assisting Alan with the technical side when it comes to creating the various maps and results.

Grant joined Agri-tech in November 2022, having come from a military and technical background. Grant is a no nonsense guy who wants to get on with little fuss. A valuable member of the Field Team both in the irrigation season and also manning one of the Company's soil sampling machines in autumn/winter.
Jaymi joined the team in June 2022 bringing with him technical expertise from his past telecommunications and military life. With the business becoming ever more reliant on SMART sensor technology, Jaymi brings invaluable knowledge into the team and is responsible for keeping "the wheels on" with the in-field sensors.
Lauren joined Agri-tech in January 2022, and has become instrumental in the smooth running of the irrigation management side of the business. With well over 500 systems to keep an eye on both in the UK and abroad as far as Australia, it's a demanding role that requires commitment and attention to detail. Lauren also manages stock coming into and out of the business.
Lois joined Agri-tech in March 2022, assisting Alan in the Lincolnshire / Notts / Yorkshire area. Lois has developed very quickly into a key member of the team, being heavily involved with both the irrigation scheduling service in the summer, and manning one of the Company's soil sampling machines during the winter months.
Managing Director and founder of the business in 1992, Simon remains involved with the day to day running of the business particularly the Irrigation Scheduling and Management service, itself still the leading component to the Agri-tech Business and where the Company started. Responsible for business development, Simon's key role is identifying new opportunities that enhance Agri-tech's portfolio of services and ultimately benefit its clients.
Tom joined Agri-tech in January 2023, having spent many years on a local arable farm. Bringing with him his practical farming knowledge and understanding of all things mechanical, he has become a highly valued member of the Field Team.
