The Alpha Workshops was founded on the idea that design can work for the greater good. This guides all of the decision-making at Alpha where a do-no-harm approach informs our business choices as well as our training program. In producing our products and services, we make every effort to have a low impact on the environment... The Alpha Workshops is an award-winning design and decorative arts studio founded in New York City. Studio capabilities include the design of custom art installations or interior decor refurbishments; handmade wallpapers for residential and commercial interiors; and the hand-weaving and dying of custom interior fabrics and art textiles. Recent projects include Saks Fifth Avenue, The Woolworth Tower, Convene, the Polynesian at the POD Hotel, Gotham Hall, and Zaytinya at The Ritz-Carlton New York... Our vendor partners are as local as possible - our wallpaper substrate is sourced from a manufacturer in New Jersey and our lighting forms are cast on Long Island.
