ANITA FELIX VIOLIN

In addition to her orchestral work, Anita has pursued her desire to perform virtuosic violin chamber music through the formation of several performing groups. She began with the formation of Duo Concertante in 1994, a piano and violin duo with her pianist father, Wolfgang Fetsch. Anita and her father were included as roster artists of the California Touring and Presenting Program through the California Arts Council. Anita also performed as a member of the Sierra Ensemble from 2008 to 2015, a violin, piano, and French horn trio based in Northern California. With the Sierra Ensemble, she and her colleagues performed in Istanbul and Ankara, Turkey in 2013, and held a residency at the Crowden School, working with budding composers in Berkeley, Ca. They were recipients of the American Composer's Forum grant, travel funding by the U.S. State Department, and were selected for inclusion on the San Francisco Friends of Music roster of artists...
