AP LANDRAGIN - Key Persons

Alex Miller

Alex Miller has been around print since a young lad, as teenager he often assisted his Father during his holidays, hand finishing and packing jobs. His career took a change during his late teens when he started working in pubs and restaurants working his way up from a bar man, and sous chef in the kitchen, to becoming a Cover Manager for other pubs and Head Chef in his own establishment. Eventually the unsocial hours took their toll, Alex sought a more hour friendly job and started working in an accounts office which he earned his qualification in AAT to become a part qualified accountant. This allowed Alex to assist with the accounts of his father's company, and in doing so began to pick up the trade again, and 5 years ago decided to join his father full time to help build the family business.

Derek Landragin

Derek Landragin is the former owner of AP Landragin. It was Derek's Grandfather who founded the company over 80 years ago. Derek worked with his father from a young age, and became a qualified copperplate hand engraver. Although now semi-retired Derek still works as a consultant to Alex and Rob, working a few days a week, as his knowledge of the company, its clients and the history of AP Landragin is extremely valuable.

Rob Miller

Rob Miller is no stranger to the print world. Along with owning Bridge and Company Limited, another traditional company operating for over 100 years, Rob has been involved in the print world for over 40 years, working with many different print processes, working his way up from sweeping the floors as a young man, operating machinery in his late twenties to moving up the ladder to Production Manager then Company Director to purchasing the goodwill of Bridge and Company nearly 10 years ago. There is not much about print that Rob does not know and his quest for perfection is unwavering.
