A native of Alexandria, Virginia, Ian McGrath received his AB from Dartmouth College and JD from Georgetown Law, both after serving in the US Marine Corps. Ian has specialized in corporate and structured finance, starting his professional career at the US Securities and Exchange Commission in 2003. Since 2006, Ian has redeveloped and invested in commercial and mixed-used properties in Alexandria's historic districts of Old Town and Parker-Gray. Since 2007, Ian has maintained a specialized solo law practice in Old Town focused on business and real estate finance. Along the way, Ian has financed and/or sponsored financing for many well-known local businesses in Alexandria, including both startups looking for seed capital and seasoned businesses looking to expand or to acquire their own real estate. Ian lives in Old Town with his son.
Keinan Ashkenazi grew up in the South Florida area before moving to Washington, DC for his undergraduate studies. Following his undergraduate time, he lived and worked in various countries in Europe and South America. He eventually ended up back in Florida to obtain an MBA from the University of Florida. After moving back to Washington, DC a few years later, he, along with three business partners, founded Tempus Consulting, an international payment and foreign exchange firm. While at Tempus, Keinan focused on operations and the general management of the firm. In 2012, Tempus was sold to a large multi-national bank that specialized in foreign exchange, which provided the opportunity to enter the world of private equity and real estate investment. The private equity investments have been in a wide array of areas, including technology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and even nightlife venues. During his time in private equity dealings, Keinan simultaneously grew a portfolio in real estate as a principal in Avanti Holdings Group. Keinan is married with three children and currently lives in Alexandria, VA, where he has been a resident for the past 18 years.

Teddy Kim is a principal of Avanti Holdings Group based in his hometown of Alexandria, Virginia. He directs all acquisition efforts and oversees ongoing operations related to leasing, tenant management, zoning, legal issues and selling. Mr. Kim also interfaces with all lenders and agents.
Mr. Kim started his professional life at age 19 when he started an HVAC service company. He then moved into building management, janitorial and logistics. Since then, Mr. Kim has founded, operated and owned businesses in several other industries such as transportation, technology and most recently restaurants.
With over 20 years of real estate experience, Mr. Kim has been the lead operating partner on over 30 transactions. He has been involved in the renovation and construction of over 20 properties. He has extensive experience in acquisition, leasing, renovation, repositioning, sales and financing.
Mr. Kim attended T.C. Williams High School, where he began working as a AutoCad designer for a local steam generator manufacture for 2 years at age 14. He then went onto study Urban Planning at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg Virginia. Mr. Kim resides in Alexandria, Virginia and is passionate about travel, food and skiing.
