Helen Butler

Helen has an interest in work related disorders (WRDs) and works closely with local companies who refer patients for work capability assessments. Helen shares her business with her husband Myles and they have 2 children together, William and Erin. As a family they enjoy bike riding, running and skiing. Helen is kept busy working , managing and developing the practice and being a mum.

Jay is a Yoga and Pilates instructor working in both public and private fitness centres in the area, often providing patients bespoke one-to-one sessions.

Myles Butler

Myles graduated as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2000 and has over 22yrs experience in the assessment diagnosis and treatment of MSK conditions. He was the BSc Physiotherapy Course Leader at Sheffield Hallam University and is now an Associate Professor and the Univeristy of Lincoln running their Post Registration provision across the School of Health and Social Care. Myles began his career working in the NHS before moving into teaching. He has worked with both elite athletes and the elderly taking an holistic approach to enable clients to reach their full potential. His special interest lies in sports rehabilitation, running assessment and spine related problems and is currently involved in research around knee pathology and assessment. Myles' approach is very hands on but he firmly believes in self management outside of Barefoot.
