Chris has a proven track record of technical real estate delivery across Europe and is client focused, an incisive tactical thinker, outcome committed and technically astute.

James Carmillet

  • Director of Cost Management
As Director of Cost Management, through his assured approach, James builds trusted advisor relationships and is able to quickly build a picture of project specific needs and requirements for clients. He has cross sector experience including that gained within contracting, consultant and client environments and is keen to share knowledge, experience and provide considered advice. He has an agile and innovative benefits based approach to client needs and requests.

Jim Hart - CEO

Jim specialises in business critical facilities such as data centres, mission critical infrastructure and secure installations with over 30 years in the M&E industry. Recognising a need in the market to deliver an integrated digital asset solution, BCS was created. As CEO Jim drives the strategic direction of BCS and helps deliver assured outcomes for all our customers.

Jon Barton - CFO

Jon is a highly experienced Chartered Accountant with over 20 years' experience building and leading Finance teams in SME companies within the technology sector. Jon has a proven track record of implementing the systems and reporting enhancements needed to drive efficiencies that support the BCS team and ultimately benefit our customer base.

Scott Shearer - COO

As COO Scott heads up the project and solutions teams, ensuing that all projects have access to the correct resources and expertise. Recognised sector wide for his expertise in service delivery and his ability to build teams, Scott is also acknowledged as a pioneer in alternative procurement routes having successfully delivered high profile data centre fit out and new build projects to time and budget.

Simon Harris

  • Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
  • Head of Critical Infrastructure
Simon is a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and an experienced cost, value, procurement and contract administration professional with a background in project delivery and over twenty years in a consultancy environment. With his track record in team leadership and business management Simon is able to quickly determine project success factors and lead his team and wider project participants to deliver the objectives set out within project and programme briefs.

Steve Whatling - Chairman

Having supported and delivered some of the most secure and resilient data centre facilities in the world for major financial institutions and global corporations, Steve has extensive experience in delivering strategic consultancy for critical environments. As Chairman Steve plays a key role in supporting the strategic direction of BCS.
