BIODEGRADABLE BIN BAGS

Bin bags are used to collect waste. Once a bin bag is full of non-recyclable rubbish it is usually collected and discarded in a landfill site. Standard polythene bags can take years to break down when disposed of in this manner, but biodegradable bin bags do so in a matter of months, thus lessening the impact on the environment. Biodegradable bin bags are made from eco-friendly polymers, such as starch-based and bacteria-based polymers, which are broken down by the natural microorganisms found in soil, unlike standard polymers used to make regular bin bags.
