Becky Shultz studied business management at Barnes Business College in Denver, Colorado. She learned about the importance of establishing a relationship with customers early on and her management experience allows Mike to enjoy the benefits of being self employed. A Boulder native, Mike Finnesy opened his first business in 1988, "Lawns of Boulder" which grew successfully for 10 years until he sold it in 2000 and took a long-deserved break. Later that year, Mike began his new business ventures…" Your Sprinkler Guy" & in 2008 he started "Flatirons Carpet & Hardwood Cleaning"
With a lifetime of experience in the lawn care industry, Mike provides well-informed irrigation solutions to help his clients make the most out of Boulder's dry climate with the most cost effective and efficient equipment available.
During the slow season, Mike continued his education in carpet and upholstery care and cleaning and in 2007 Mike received his certification as a IICRC. Flatiron Carpet and Hardwood continues to practice Mike's philosophy by using state-of-the-art equipment and green environmental products.
Mike's values can be traced back to his teens. An Eagle Scout by 16, Mike received the 1st "Distinguished Scout of Boulder Award" in 1983 for his integrity, leadership, and contributions to the Boulder community.
