Amanda Nudd

Amanda is a Chartered Legal Executive, a Partner and Heads up the Conveyancing department in our Wroxham office. She has 20 years residential conveyancing experience, specialising in both freehold and leasehold sales and purchases (registered or unregistered), new-build purchases. re-mortgages, transfer of equities and sales and purchases of chalets. In her spare time Amanda enjoys all forms of sport.

Bryn Clarke

Bryn qualified as a Solicitor in 1982 and has practised in Norfolk for over 30 years, joining Capron and Helliwell in 1997 and being appointed as a Partner in May 2014. Bryn is in charge of our Wroxham Office at the Broads Centre. Bryn has extensive experience in dealing with all types of residential and commercial property transactions, as well as landlord and tenant including legal matters relating to licensed premises. In addition Bryn has many years' specialist knowledge in dealing with transactions involving riverside properties on the Norfolk Broads as well as holiday chalets, acting for both site owners as well as private individuals either buying or selling.

Eleanor Russell

Eleanor is a Solicitor in the Private Client department, dealing with Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate matters. She obtained her degree at the University of Derby and completed the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School before qualifying in 2009. Whilst practising as a solicitor Eleanor has also covered a variety of claims under the litigation ‘umbrella', including personal injury, adverse possession, professional negligence, landlord and tenant matters, boundary disputes, dilapidations, assured shorthold tenancies, possession proceedings and contentious probate including lack of testamentary capacity claims, undue influence claims, lack of knowledge and approval, claims against executors and Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claims.

Lindsay Little

Lindsay qualified as a Solicitor in 1985 and joined Capron and Helliwell in 1995 having previously worked for a large law firm in Bradford. Lindsay has extensive experience and specialises in private client work including wills, estate planning, probate and trusts. She can also assist with lasting powers of attorney and any dealings with the Court of Protection including the appointment of a Deputy in cases where loss of mental capacity has occurred. Lindsay is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Law Society Probate Section.

Liz Collyer

Liz qualified as a Solicitor in 1992 and joined Capron and Helliwell in 1995 after gaining experience with two Norwich firms. She became a partner of the practice in 2007. Liz has a wide range of experience and currently specialises in private client work including wills, estate planning, probate and trusts. In addition she can assist with lasting powers of attorney and any dealings with the Court of Protection and the appointment of a Deputy in cases where loss of mental capacity has occurred.

Neil Harries

Neil qualified as a Solicitor in 1982 and joined the firm in 1983. He is the Senior Partner and is based in our Stalham office. He has over 30 years' experience in a wide range of areas including all types of residential and commercial conveyancing , as well as agricultural property matters. Neil has many years practical experience and knowledge of dealing with the purchase and sale of properties on the Norfolk Broads and the specific local issues that can arise. In addition, Neil has extensive experience in dealing with business and partnership matters including the purchase and sale of businesses, and particularly boatyards and other types of business based on the Broads. In his spare time, Neil is a keen fan of motorsport and particularly Team Lotus.

Nicola Lucking

Nicola qualified as a Solicitor in 1974 and began practising in Wroxham in 1977, where she is still based, working on a part-time basis. Nicola assists clients in dealing with all types of commercial and residential property transactions as well as landlord and tenant matters. In addition, she has experience of working with property developers and also in dealing with transactions involving riverside and holiday properties on the Norfolk Broads. She also has wide experience in dealing with commercial matters including the purchase and sale of businesses.

Rachel Appleton

Rachel qualified as a solicitor in 2004. She trained at a regional firm, where she spent 19 years before joining Capron and Helliwell in April 2021. Having chosen to specialise in this area of law in 2006, Rachel has extensive experience in dealing with all types of commercial property transactions, including the acquisition and disposal of commercial properties, advising on commercial leases for both landlords and tenants, and assisting and advising on commercial funding. Outside of work Rachel is a big football fan, and is a season ticket holder at Norwich City Football Club. She also enjoys running and keeping fit, and spending time with her young family.

Sarah Bunkell

Sarah has considerable finance experience gained from working in the banking industry and through Capron & Helliwell finance department for 15 years. Sarah became a partner on 1 st May 2023 and is currently studying for the Institute of Legal Finance & Management Diploma.

Sarah McMahon

Sarah is a Conveyancer who works within our residential Conveyancing department in the Wroxham office. She has over 18 years residential conveyancing experience. Sarah deals with freehold and leasehold sales and purchases

Stacey Ashworth

Job Titles:
  • Partner
Stacey is a Partner at the firm. She has been working with us since 2018 and qualified as a solicitor in December 2021. Stacey obtained her law degree from the University of East Anglia and it was through a work experience placement arranged by the University that she started her career at the firm. Whilst working Stacey has continued her studies at BPP Cambridge University and completed the Legal Practice Course in 2020. During this period in 2019 Capron & Helliwell became a SRA registered training provider and Stacey became the firm's first Trainee Solicitor. During her time at the firm Stacey has been predominantly based in the Private Client department dealing with Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate matters. Stacey will continue to work in this department now that she is a qualified Solicitor and she is based at the Stalham office.
