Adam Tesdorpf Saunte joined Danske Private Equity in early 2018 and brought more than 12 years of experience in private equity fund investing as well as co-investments across Europe and North America.
Before joining Danske Private Equity, Adam worked at ATP Private Equity Partners, where he was a member of the investment team since 2006 and was heavily involved in 40 fund commitments and led or co-led more than 10 successful co-investments. Before ATP Adam worked in Nordea in equity research.
Adam holds a M. Sc. in Finance and Accounting (FIR) from Copenhagen Business School including studies at European Business School in London and Université de Genève (HEC). Adam is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Christian Kvorning joined Danske Private Equity in early 2018 and brought more than 20 years of investment and industry experience.
Before joining Danske Private Equity, Christian was an investment director at PKA AIP, the alternatives investment arm of the Danish labor market pension fund, PKA. Before PKA, Christian spent eight years at Cambridge Associates in London, most recently as a Managing Director. In that position, he advised pension funds, family offices and SWFs regarding their alternative investment allocations. Christian started out his career in the energy industry which included rotations to the US, the UK and Brazil.
Christian holds a M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting from Aarhus University and an MBA from Rice University in Houston, Texas. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
Claus joined Danske Private Equity in 2018. Claus has more than 20 years of investment and banking experience.
Before joining Danske Private Equity, Claus worked as senior banker responsible for the institutional client base at Danske Bank. He was, among other managerial tasks, responsible for sourcing, structuring and executing deals for the institutional clients within the alternative investment space including private equity transactions and capital raising.
Claus began his career as an equity analyst in London where he spent the following 10 years becoming a top ranked sector head covering the renewable energy and med tech sector at top Alfred Berg/ABN and Deutsche Bank.
He later relocated to New York & Washington DC working with distressed credit and equity investments before returning to Denmark. Claus holds a M. Sc. (Econ. and finance) from University of Copenhagen and London School of Economics & Political Science.
Dan has more than 30 years of experience in legal matters relating to private equity and other financial transactions. Dan has been responsible for negotiating and structuring terms and conditions governing all portfolio funds in Danske PEP I-VI as well as Danske PEP 2018. Dan has served on the LP Platform Council and Professional Standards Committee of Invest Europe and on the Legal Affairs Committee of the Danish Venture Capital and Private Equity Association and guest lectured on private equity law at the University of Copenhagen and Copenhagen Business School.
Dan's focus on negotiating and drafting commercially minded contractual relationships ensures an ongoing alignment of interest between Danske Private Equity, its investors and portfolio funds. Before joining Danske Private Equity, Dan was Head of the Legal Section in Danske Securities Corporate Finance, where his duties included due diligence on and monitoring of equity fund investments made by the Danske Bank Group, and advised third party clients on a range of transactions involving private equity funds. Prior to heading the legal section of Danske Securities, Dan held various legal positions within Danske Bank (HandelsBanken).
Dan holds a masters degree in law from the University of Copenhagen.
Lars joined Danske Private Equity in 2010 and has held up several positions in the company. Lars has been CFO in Danske Private Equity since 2021.
Prior to joining Danske Private Equity, Lars has five years of experience within accounting and auditing from a position at KPMG
Lars has sixteen years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial reporting, valuation, management control and taxes. Lars has worked with a wide range of companies in private equity, private debt and infrastructure funds as well as direct investments.
Lars holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Accounting and Financial Management) from Copenhagen Business School.
Martin Heissel joined Danske Private Equity in 2015 and brought more than 5 years of experience from both corporate business development and consulting.
Prior to joining Danske Private Equity, Martin worked as a M&A Business Developer with Dansk Supermarked Group and as Senior Consultant with PwC, where he did financial due dilligence work for both small, mid and large cap corporations, public entities as well as private equity clients.
Martin holds a M. Sc. (Economics and Management) from Aarhus University.
