Christy has been featured on House Hunters Renovation on HGTV, season 11/episode 3. She is an expert adviser for buyers and dreamers looking to purchase custom homes.
Dave Curran serves as Project Manager for DeFatta Custom Homes, supervising daily homebuilding details on site. Dave is a veteran of the US Army, serving our great country for 23 years as a Chief Warrant Officer and Instruction Pilot. After retiring from the US Army Dave served as a Captain and Pilot for Air Evac before entering into the residential construction industry. Dave has over 10 years of managing residential construction projects.
Dave brings organization, great communication, and excellent customer service to our team.
Dave lives with his wife Mary, in Spring Hill.
David DeFatta serves as Vice President of DeFatta Custom Homes. From the time he was old enough to swing a hammer he has been learning to build alongside his father. It was during this time spent with his father that David learned the importance of hard work, dedication, and responsibility. A calling & passion over the years grew within David for the homebuilding industry and he went on to study Construction Management and Land Development at Middle Tennessee State University. In addition to 15 years of experience in the construction industry, David holds certifications from OSHA and the National Homebuilders Association.

Mr. Pewitt currently serves DeFatta Custom Homes in several capacities; first in an Advisory role and also as an Investment Partner.
Mr. Pewitt has been instrumental in the success of several area banks, including Williamson County Bank, Franklin National Bank, Cumberland Bank and Franklin Synergy Bank.
Mr. Pewitt is a Franklin native, a graduate of Battle Ground Academy and holds a B.A. in Business Administration from The University of Tennessee. In addition, Mr. Pewitt is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. He is a former Director and current member of Franklin Noon Rotary Club and serves as Treasurer of the Williamson County UT Alumni Association. In addition, Mr. Pewitt serves on the Board of Directors and the Finance Committee of Christ Church.
Mr. Pewitt lives locally in Franklin with his wife Linda. In his free time he enjoys the outdoors, supporting UT Athletics but most importantly spending time with his grandsons.
Jodi DeFatta serves as the Office Manager for DeFatta Custom Homes. As the Office Manager, she handles the bookkeeping, permitting, and coordinates meetings with each customer and our Designer.
Joe DeFatta proudly serves as President of DeFatta Custom Homes with over 35 years of experience in the homebuilding industry. Joe has been at the forefront of developing DeFatta Custom Homes from the ground up into one of the most respected and sought-after custom home builders in the Middle Tennessee area. As president, he is committed to excellence and ensures that all DeFatta Custom Homes are built with the same degree of quality as if each one were his own home.

Josh McCown serves as the Director of Pre-Construction for DeFatta Custom Homes. In this position, he is responsible for managing the process from contract signing through the start of each home. Josh is also the point of contact for each of our customers throughout the process of building their home on change orders.
Josh began in the construction industry in Texas, as a purchasing agent and since has worked in both Maryland and Tennessee as a Project Manager.

Kyle Freundt serves as a Project Supervisor for DeFatta Homes, assisting in the daily homebuilding details on site. Kyle lives in Nashville, TN with his wife Jenny.
He is excited to be a part of the DeFatta Custom Homes team and help provide an exceptional home building experience for our customers.
With over 11 years of experience, featured work in two national magazines, and an HGTV special under her belt, Melissa Lewis is more than capable of leading every aspect of the design process from start to finish. Her instinctive eye and assured sense of scale allow her to design timeless interiors that manage to feel elegant, relaxed, and lived-in all at once in a way that truly reflects the character and personality of each and every client. One of Melissa's most valuable attributes is her innate ability to listen to our clients' needs and wishes and in turn deliver them an outcome that exceeds all expectations. We are so happy to have her on our team!
Though she's originally from Arizona, Melissa, her husband Dave, and their two "kids"-Jake (21) and Paige (16)-are so happy to call Tennessee home. When she's not immersed in all things design, she most enjoys spending time with family, friends, and of course, her french bulldog puppy, Moose.
Todd Freundt serves as Director of Construction for DeFatta Custom Homes, leading our team of project managers in the day-to-day construction of each home. Todd has 20 years of experience within the construction industry and is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University. He has managed a variety of projects over the years including commercial construction, land development, custom home construction and he also served as an overseas missionary in the Ukraine building and renovating orphanages.
Serving as Director of Construction, Todd is a valuable asset because of his solid leadership skills paired with his extensive knowledge throughout the entirety of the homebuilding process.
He lives locally in Williamson County with his wife & their three daughters. Todd has a passion for serving others, is well seasoned in custom home construction, and is committed to providing excellent care and service to all DeFatta Custom Homes customers.
