Ken Kaufmann

Mr. Kaufmann brings 20+ years experience designing, delivering, implementing, and evaluating people initiatives across the enterprise. Ken's areas of expertise include coaching, leadership development, job/process/organization design, new facility start-up, and change management. He translates the people needs of initiatives for supply chain, manufacturing, IT and engineering with a frontline perspective to help leaders achieve their goals. Ken spent 10+ years working with Starbucks Coffee Company gaining hands-on experience opening facilities, designing work groups and leading cross-functional teams with stints in human resources, supply chain, retail and IT. He earned his Master's degree in Adult Education and Training from Seattle University and coaching credentials through the Hudson Institute. He is a skilled facilitator with hands-on experience facilitating groups, leading cross-functional initiatives and engaging leaders. In addition to his time with Starbucks, Ken worked in learning and development roles in health care, consulting on learning technology, international development, environmental health and safety. He also spent a year working with the East Africa Coffee Initiative on agronomy and quality initiatives to improve the livelihood of smallholder coffee farmers.
