Bukky Yusuf

BIO Bukky Yusuf is a Science educator, consultant and Senior Leader who has worked in education for two decades. She teaches secondary sciences, specialising in Chemistry at A level / Level 3 BTEC. She has undertaken a number of leadership roles within mainstream and special schools. Bukky has a variety of Ed(ucation) Tech(nology) experiences which includes whole school implementation of mobile devices to enhance teaching and learning, participating as a judge for BETT Awards and serving as an education board member for Innovate My School. Bukky's keenness for education and the impact that educators can make is reflected in the presentations that she delivers at local and national levels. She also participates in a number of educational initiatives which supports the development of educators at all levels. These initiatives include WomenEd, BAMEed and SLTChat. She is a London Regional Leader for WomenEd and is registered as a leadership coach in the coaching programme run by the Department for Education / Teaching School Council.

BIO Dayo has a varied background in education, including Feltham YOI, where he was Head of Education. Dayo has been an Ofsted inspector, visiting lecturer and university examiner and was a consultant to colleges. He is firmly committed to inclusion and has an MA in Inclusive Education. Dayo strongly believes in the power of education and work skills to change lives. He is passionate about the possibilities of positive change in the lives of all people and this is what has driven his initiatives in Work Skills Education. He is a keen table tennis player and will do his utmost to play and win.

BIO Helen has over 25 years of Office Management experience within the professional training sector. The position of SEN Admin Lead was a new direction for her to move into and bring her experience and knowledge to this role.

Mrs Helen Jackson

BIO Helen has worked in Special Educational Needs for over 20 years. She was a SENCO in a large secondary school in London, has managed an independent special needs organisation and been the head-teacher of an independent special school. Like Dayo, she is committed to inclusion and also completed an MA in Inclusive Education. Helen believes education can be a life changing activity and is proud of her students' achievements. She has undertaken training for SENCOs as well as for teachers and TAs.

Mrs Karen Dwyer-Burchill

BIO I've been teaching for over 25 years, having taught in Ireland and Spain before moving to England. I've taught in a range of schools from two large mixed comprehensive schools, a boys school to an all-through school and a performing arts school. My background is in music and the performing arts and I've also had various pastoral and academic managerial roles. Working in a range of school contexts has been invaluable in developing my expertise as a teacher, manager and leader. As Head Teacher, I've led a well respected school through three successful inspections. It was a collaborative process where every member of staff shared the same vision in ensuring our pupils success and well-being.

BIO Nickie has over 15 years PA / Secretarial experience. The position of Business Manager was a great next step from the PA background and with her dealings with the parenting and family industry, brings additional knowledge and insight to this role. The role of Business Manager takes into consideration each and every student as well as each member of staff and is one that Nickie very much enjoys.
