FORWARD ACTION - Key Persons
Alex co-founded Forward Action in 2015 and was Co-Executive Director until 2023. He previously launched and ran the team behind 38 Degrees' "Campaigns by You" petition platform before moving on to work for the Labour Party. He led Labour's email team during the 2015 election campaign, helping the party raise a record-breaking £3.1 million online.
Ali is the go-to person for our brilliant partners. She brings a range of copywriting, digital fundraising and strategy experience to Forward Action from her time in house at charities, including Shelter and English Heritage, and her agency work at Blue State Digital and Open.
Anna supports project delivery in the Strategy team at Forward Action. Previously, she interned at KEEN, a national charity for youth-led disability inclusion.
Anya oversees all our creative work at Forward Action, from running workshops for brainstorming ideas, to working closely with our four Digital Creative Experts to deliver high quality, motivating copy and design. Before joining the team in 2022, she was the Senior Copywriter at Anthony Nolan and freelanced across the third sector.
Berry joins Forward Action after more than 15 years working in digital, most recently heading up the digital team at Amnesty UK and leading digital mobilisation for Greenpeace.

Beth works on strategy and project management at Forward Action. Before joining Forward Action, Beth worked in the marketing team at craft brewery, BrewDog.

Dylan is the lead web developer at Forward Action and heads up the tech team. He's been working in digital campaigns for the past 3-4 years, most recently for the Labour Party as well as in volunteer roles for various progressive campaigns and activism groups.
Eleesha works to make sure all of our partnerships are set up for success. Before joining Forward Action, Eleesha worked in fundraising and campaigning roles across the third sector.
Elena is part of the Creative team at Forward Action. Before that, she worked in Fundraising and Communications roles for Transaid, an international development organisation.
Eve is a digital strategy expert at Forward Action, leading project management and supporting the strategic direction of our work with partners.
Gavin works on project management at Forward Action. His previous role was as Digital Business Partner at the NSPCC, where he worked on digital strategy and project management across fundraising campaigns, acquisition projects and new product developments.
George supports the delivery of projects during the pre-launch and live phases. Before joining Forward Action, he interned at Consortium for Street Children, a global membership network that advocates for the rights of street-connected children.

Helen leads strategy work at Forward Action. Before joining the team, she spent 13 years working on campaigns, content and digital strategy for organisations including ONE and ActionAid.
In 30 years with the John Lewis partnership, Helen worked at board level, supporting those in leadership roles attain every goal, personal and professional. Today, she collaborates with organisations, businesses and leaders to support them through change and towards individual and collective success.
Jess leads on digital strategies at Forward Action and has worked on a variety of projects with organisations such as Oxfam, Comic Relief and the Young Women's Trust. Jess previously worked in different campaigning roles in the third sector.
Jessica works on strategy and project management at Forward Action. Prior to this, she was responsible for growing supporters and online donors at UK fact checking charity Full Fact.
Jessie works on strategy and project management at Forward Action. Previously she has worked in the digital and communications teams of non-profit organisations, most recently Target Ovarian Cancer.

John leads one of our sub-teams, overseeing strategic direction on projects with the likes of Surfers Against Sewage, The Children's Society, and Greater London Authority. Before joining the Forward Action team in 2020, John worked in the digital team at Human Rights NGO Reprieve.
Krystal is our Team Assistant, supporting the team with the administration and operations for the agency. Before joining Forward Action, she worked as a Personal Assistant in the Built Environment Sector.

Lyle is a web developer in the tech team at Forward Action. Before Forward Action, he worked as a full-stack software engineer at JPMorgan.
Rhea works on strategy and project management at Forward Action. Before joining the team, Rhea worked in the not-for-profit sector, helping organisations engage key audiences and drive meaningful action.
Ross works on strategy and project management at Forward Action. He has previously worked in campaigning and communications roles within the charity sector, most recently working on climate communications at WWF-UK.
Stella looks after our partners and connects impact-led organisations to Forward Action's work. With 15 years of experience in the charity sector and leadership roles in mass market fundraising, innovation and supporter experience, she gained insights into the huge opportunities that digital mobilisation offers and the challenges in implementing it - and what it takes to overcome them.
