Gene Brown is President and CEO of FSB Architects + Engineers, responsible for overall strategic plan and operational performance of each of the firm's market sectors. He will continue to play a critical role in fostering client relationships, including key federal clients. With twenty-five years' experience at FSB, Gene brings a distinct appreciation for FSB's employees and their families. He has a strong understanding of FSB's values and culture, having held various positions within the firm including as a structural engineer and project manager on many FSB projects and more recently as Federal Market Sector Principal. Having been an FSB shareholder since 2016, Gene has helped build an Architectural-Engineering firm that has grown from being known as Oklahoma's largest A-E firm to one that now reaches beyond our coasts. Gene's leadership has resulted in high-profile project honors for FSB's design team including Outstanding Project of the Year Award from the National Council of Structural Engineers Associations, Federal Energy and Wastewater Management Award and many DoD Honor, Citation and Merit Awards. Recently appointed by the Governor, Brown also serves on the Oklahoma State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, and he serves on the OSU School of Architecture Professional Advisory Council.

She also serves as a mentor, preparing future leaders within the firm. The first woman named to FSB's leadership as an Associate, Laure is now also the first woman Principal of the firm. She is a Trustee for the Board of Regents at Rose State College and a Journal Record Woman of the Year honoree. She also served as Chairman of Governor Mary Fallin's Feeding Oklahoma program, an initiative which has raised money to provide more than 15 million meals to hungry Oklahomans.
