Charlene has been a valued member of our team for over six years, starting out as a care assistant before progressing to team leader. She loves to see the residents happy in their home and always goes the extra mile to make a difference. Our residents and staff describe Charlene as organized, supportive and thorough.

David joined Katherine & Griffiths House in 2008 and trained with us to become a cook. He's always been interested in catering and he's also very sociable, so if he's not in the kitchen preparing meals, you'll find him in the dining room catching up with our residents.
Staff and residents describe David as kind and caring. In David's own words, "I love getting to know our residents, they all have such fascinating stories to tell about their lives; and I love cooking too, so this is the perfect job for me!"

Fiona has been a valued member of our team for over 24 years, building up a tremendous wealth of experience over that time. She is passionate about the quality of care and support given to our residents and she is rarely seen without a smile! During her career with us, Fiona has gained her NVQ Level 2/3 in Social Care and she is described by residents and staff as creative, kind and happy.
In Fiona's own words: "Being part of the residents' lives makes me happy. I have always enjoyed being part of the team here."
Gillian is so passionate about providing the highest standard of care at Katherine & Griffiths House, she has been a member of our team for over twenty years and she is held in high regard by staff and residents alike. Having worked her way up from care assistant to team leader, Gillian is a state enrolled nurse with an NVQ 4 qualification. She loves tending to the residents' needs and learning about their fascinating lives. Both staff and residents describe Gillian as kind, good humored and professional.
In Gillian's own words: "I love learning new things and belonging to a good team. Katherine & Griffiths House is a wonderful place to work because of the people who live and work here."
Ivy joined our team over four years ago, starting out in a kitchen role and moving on to become a housekeeper. She loves to maintain high standards of cleanliness and enjoys talking to our residents while cleaning. Residents describe Ivy as helpful, happy and enthusiastic.
Jill joined our team in 2022 and she's always busy finding ways to make sure that the residents are happy and enjoying their day. Staff describe Jill as caring, team-spirited and good humored.
In Jill's own words: "I love nothing more than helping our residents to feel happy and relaxed."
Jodie joined our team in 2022 having worked in the Care industry since leaving education. Her kind and caring nature, teamed with a fun-loving, bubbly personality, make her a joy to be around. Our lovely residents and brilliant staff are always smiling in Jodie's company.
Staff and residents describe Jodie as caring, compassionate and an excellent listener who is very supportive. In Jodie's own words: "Nothing gives me more pleasure than to see the residents we care for flourish and be part of our community."

Lorraine has been a valued member of our team for over eleven years. She particularly enjoys making sure that the residents' rooms are clean and welcoming, with freshly laundered clothes, sheets and towels. Lorraine loves to help residents where she can and she enjoys listening to their stories. Residents and staff describe Lorraine as kind, reliable and team spirited.
In Lorraine's own words: "My biggest motivation at work is spending time with the lovely residents and working with a great team to make the home a happy place for everyone."

Louise joined our team more than 23 years ago and during that time she has helped to bring about many improvements as the Care sector has changed and evolved. Louise is passionate about the care and support she gives to our residents and she also enjoys supporting the team. Residents and staff describe Louise as kind, honest and competent.

Marcia has been a longstanding member of our team for over 17 years and she always goes the extra mile to help new residents and new members of staff to settle in. Marcia enjoys spending time with our residents and learning about their fascinating lives. Residents and staff describe Marcia as enthusiastic, team spirited and compassionate.
In Marcia's own words: "The residents at our home are so interesting to talk to and I learn a lot from them."
Martin joined the team in 2022 and he has been a ray of sunshine every day since! Front of house, Martin greets visitors with a friendly smile and his diligent approach to every task makes him a person you can always rely on. Martin is qualified in Business and Administration Level 2/3 and he has recently been nominated for the Care South West Administrator of the Year award. Staff describe Martin as reliable, supportive and good humored.
In Martin's own words: "I'm very proud to be part of the team here. I enjoy all aspects of my job but one of my daily highlights is being paperboy and postman to the residents because they really are delightful!"

Neil has been a valued member of our team for over four years and he loves to help residents, often fixing items for them. He can turn his hand to almost anything and is a font of knowledge when it comes to keeping all sorts of things running like clockwork. In Neil's own words: "I get so much satisfaction supporting residents across the various locations of the Cote Charity. A highlight for me is accompanying residents on some of our outings, they're such a wonderful bunch and we always have fun!"
Nick joined us as Head Chef in 2022 and he has brought a wealth of expertise in food and nutrition to the role. He trained as a p tisserie chef and has a City and Guilds Level 706-1-2 along with a Business and Management qualification. Nick loves to provide the residents with high quality home cooked food; and he is brilliant leader in the kitchen, always supporting the development of his colleagues.
Rajpreet joined Katherine & Griffiths House in 2009, first spending time with the kitchen team, before joining the Wellbeing team. She loves helping to create and deliver a wide range of events and activities for our residents and she was nominated for Wellbeing Assistant of the Year 2022 in the Care and Support South West Awards.

Sabina has been a valued member of our Wellbeing team for over five years. She started her career as a wellbeing assistant, where her energy, enthusiasm and creativity made a positive impact in the home every day. Sabina's promotion to Wellbeing Coordinator has allowed her passion for planning events and activities to flourish and residents are always excited to see what's on the activities calendar for the week ahead! It's no surprise that Sabina has been a finalist for the Care and Support South West Awards in 2022 and 2023. Both residents and staff describe Sabina as supportive, kind and caring.
In Sabina's own words: "The residents and I have a really good relationship which inspires and motivates me. I feel very proud of our achievements together."

Sasha became a member of our team in March 2023. She enjoys getting to know the residents and working with a dedicated, professional team. Sasha is looking forward to furthering her career in the Care sector. Residents and staff describe Sasha as outgoing, respectful and kind.

Susan has been a valued member of our team for more than seven years, starting out as a kitchen assistant and working her way up to housekeeper.
