Andrew Shankie

Andrew is a web developer from Canada, now living in Cardiff. He works at both Proper Design (a web company that he started with Ben Jones and Marc Heatley in 2015) and climb.rs (a fitness tracker for indoor rock climbing).

Anna Bezodis

Job Titles:

Anna is a freelance trainer and consultant, helping businesses and charities navigate the complexities of data protection (the dreaded GDPR!) and governance, through friendly training and support. Having previously worked as a lawyer, and as an advisor in the voluntary sector, Anna has extensive experience of assisting organisations of all shapes and sizes. If you're looking for jargon-free information and practical tips on dealing with technical subjects, then look no further!

Anne Collis

Barod specialise in making information easy for anyone to understand. The concept started over a pint at a conference, when two Welsh leaders with learning disabilities asked how to turn their skills into paid work. Anne has been seconded by Barod to work part-time on a sociology PhD at Bangor University. Her PhD will help Barod develop better ways to think about and do activities that change attitudes and spread ideas.

Chris Payne

Chris runs Quantum Soup, a video game developer focusing on narrative-driven titles. Original games in progress include surreal puzzler "Annwn: The Otherworld" and celtic bard-‘em-up "Talesinger: Voice of the Dragon", but Quantum Soup also provide contract development expertise. Chris has worked in the industry for over two decades, mostly on the LEGO games, and is a BAFTA juror, Games Wales co-founder, and regular speaker at Wrexham Glyndwr University and games conferences. He likes dark age history, live role-play and Doctor Who.

David Clubb

David is a specialist in sustainable energy and digital communication.

Eifion Jones

Eifion is a filmmaker, sound designer and an entrepreneur focused on business storytelling for innovators. He has more than 10 years media industry experience ranging from the BBC to corporate work (brands like FIVE, ROLAND, HP and PWC) to award winning independent film and art projects.

Gareth Powell

Gareth undertakes training, consultancy and developmental work in the areas of Social Care and Health, and is a registered Social Worker. Gareth has interest in the development of cooperatives in social care, has produced information guides on the subject and is a member of the All Wales Social Co operation Forum. As a representative of this group, Gareth sits on the Health and Care Research Wales delivery Board. Gareth is one of the founding members of The Den Men's Shed group in North Cardiff who have begun the process of becoming a cooperative.

Gwyneth Moore

Gwyneth has worked for more than 20 years in marketing, PR and communications agencies in the UK and Australia. She set up Glorious Content to bring together the talent and experience of great people who create brilliant content for clients. She has worked with other content collaborators across the Indycube network and beyond.

Heather Turner - Founder

Heather Turner is a freelance consultant providing data analysis and statistical programming services. She works with clients worldwide and across sectors, but has particular experience supporting researchers in the life and social sciences. She can provide methodology reviews, development of custom analysis pipelines, analysis of data and training in using the software R for data science.

James Edgeworth

James builds web-based solutions to solve business needs for his clients. James is experienced in web development and covers everything from the mission-critical logic and data requirements of the server-side, to the User Experience and responsiveness of the front-end. He enjoys connecting with interesting people, cycling and taking on a challenge.

Kelly Jones

Kelly Jones moved to Wales from Essex in 2010 and has been part of Indycube since 2014. In 2014, she won the Wales Drama Award with a play called TAMMY. Off the back of the award she had her first professionally produced play at The Other Room, productions with Oran Môr, The Yard, Sherman Theatre and BBC Wales. Alongside her writing career she works with communities and young people, giving a platform to unheard stories.

Rhian Hutchings

Rhian Hutchings is the creative director and founder of Operasonic, a new company which creates participatory opera projects in Newport. She is also Partnership Manager for ArtWorks Cymru - a sector development project developing practice in participatory settings. It's all about the arts and participation for Rhian, and she's passionate about the value of arts in society.

Stephen Farmer

Steve is the founder and director of Steps Training Ltd, a provider of cost-effective and bespoke training services. Steps Training are CPD Accredited, as well as a Quality Award Centre for the Institute of Conflict Management and a member of BILD. They run both open and in-house courses to suit the needs of multiple organisations.

Tom Gallard

Tom Gallard founded Pwinty, the global printing platform, in 2013. Pwinty has grown rapidly, shipping millions of orders to over 60 countries around the world and employing 6 people from its base in Indycube St Mary's Street. Previously Tom was the first employee at Vizolution, and has worked at the Bank of England. When not taking over the world at Pwinty he enjoys cycling while his son, Harry, shouts at him to go faster from the bike seat.

Tom Wentworth

Tom Wentworth is a writer for theatre, TV and radio. He specialises in narratives that emerge out of primary source material. He is currently under commission to National Theatre Wales, Graeae Theatre Company and Pentabus Theatre Company. Previously he sat on the other side of the desk, script-editing and producing in-house for the BBC. Tom used to write a confessional column about university life as a disabled student, and is the inaugural chair of National Theatre Wales TEAM Panel.
