MAJESTIC PRODUCTIONS - Key Persons
John Wilkinson, owner of Majestic Productions, has been involved in music all of his life. From his first guitar bought with S&H green stamps at age six to scaling 30 foot scaffolding to build stages, he has turned his passion into his business. John has worked in live stage production for over 15 years. His experience on "both sides" of the stage makes for a concierge type service. He understands what a promoter needs and he understands what a performer needs. Since 1999, John has been working on large scale multi-day festivals as well as small intimate events. Realizing a need in northeastern North Carolina for a full service production company, he established Majestic Productions. Future plans are to expand to Hampton Roads and central Virginia where John has strong ties.
Shelli Gates, Production Executive at Majestic Productions, has been bossy her whole life. Having an uncanny ability to recall song lyrics and a vast record collection spanning all genre's, Shelli's love of music drew her into stage management. Soon after getting involved in the industry, she developed a reputation as a capable and professional manager. Her attention to detail and aptitude for logistic's makes things happen. With over 15 years of experience in event development and stage management, she has the vision that it takes to make an event successful. Through out Shelli's career, she has developed a network of musicians, production and industry professionals. Her knack for putting people together has proved invaluable for her clients. Shelli is good at anticipating needs during planning but equally good at problem solving as situations arise. Her organizational and technical skills are an invaluable asset to Majestic Productions.
