I am a researcher in biostatistics at the Victorian Centre for Biostatistics, working across the University of Melbourne and the Murdoch Children's Research Institute. I combine methodological research in causal inference, missing data and survival analysis, with collaborative research in various substantive areas, particularly in child and adolescent health. Setting with missing cause of failure in survival analysis with competing risks: Paper in Biometrics... I have long been interested in the development of methods for sensitivity analyses to departures from the "missing at random" (MAR) assumption. What that really meant with multivariable missingness was however difficult to understand, which is why I got interested in causal diagrams as a way to depict missingness assumptions.
