The Navy Cadet Force is a uniformed organisation based on the traditions and disciplines of our maritime heritage... The Navy Cadet Force is a National Youth Organisation promoting adventurous activities for children 8-12 years of age, and young people 12-18 years of age. We operate an equal opportunities policy with regard to sex, religion, race and disability (within the bounds of safety)... The Navy Cadet Force is not a pre-service organisation for any military service, however, we do promote the historical, social and economic links that our Country has with the sea.
