Clare Dewhirst

Job Titles:

Clare has been creating and managing profitable business to business events for over 25 years. She can provide the strategic vision as well as the practical implementation - devising new event propositions, producing conference agendas, developing awards programmes, recruiting speakers or jurors, selling sponsorship or managing the sponsorship sales process, devising the marketing strategy, delivering content marketing and managing the logistics. She began her career with Centaur Publishing, heading up the conferences and awards team and joining the board in her 20s. She freelanced for over 10 years, where roles included managing the global management conferences for a leading UK corporate and launching the IAB Engage conference. Clare was on the launch team for the Festival of Media conferences and awards and headed up the global conferences team for the International Herald Tribune (now the New York Times). In 2015, she launched CityNationPlace.com and is delighted to be able to continue to develop this initiative whilst also working to help No-4's clients build their own events.

Katie Parker

Katie joined the company in 2018 and has greatly enjoyed working with No-4's clients and expanding her knowledge across a number of core industry sectors. From researching for the latest agenda to managing the social media and content marketing strategy for several conferences, there's always something interesting and different to be doing.

Liz Watson

Job Titles:
  • Associate, Business Development
My early career was in product and sales management and I'm enjoying bringing those skills to the new world of events. I joined No-4 in October 2017 at perhaps the busiest time and have relished being thrown in at the deep end. I'm looking forward to working more closely with our clients and into providing business development, as well as event management support, across all of our events.

Martin Dewhirst

Job Titles:

Martin brings over 25 years of account management experience from the media sector to the No-4 team. As well as managing the operational side of No-4, he looks after the requirements of our clients' clients - working on sponsor and delegate management. Martin began his career as an agency TV media planner/buyer before joining Sky Media as a client account director, building relationships with channel partners and client advertisers. Following his time at Sky, Martin built his experience across other media, including print and outdoor, whilst working on account planning and management for brands such as BathStore and Western Union. Martin takes the lead on our work for REBA, whose events set very high standards for their audience and require a great attention to detail - something he prides himself on!

Rachel Edwards

I started my career as a chartered accountant, then ran training courses for PwC, and took time out to bring up a family. I began working for No-4 Media and Events last year and have been involved with London based awards events and conferences. I enjoy ensuring that the varied events run smoothly from start to finish, from setting up awards entry platforms, coordinating jury/ sponsor and speaker requirements through to production of event supporting materials - no two days are the same at No-4!

Sheryl Paul

Job Titles:

Sheryl brings over 16 years' experience in international B2B event marketing, spanning conferences, awards, seminars, one-to-one business meetings and training courses. She headed up the marketing departments at Industry Dynamics, The International New York Times, Platts EMEA Conference Department, IFF Financial Training and IIR Management Development. Sheryl also worked at Euromoney and Informa, marketing a diverse range of conferences and seminars. Sheryl has experience across the full marketing mix and can provide both strategic or implementation level support. She has worked on established events as well as new launch events for both the UK and international markets across a number of sectors including finance, energy, luxury, manufacturing and supply chain, pharmaceutical, legal and jewellery.
