Paul Davis Restorations - Restoration Conservation of fine Antique Furniture, cabinet making, polishing, gilding and paint finishes... After completing a four year traditional apprenticeship in 1985 at a prestigious London restoration company, Paul Davis set up and ran a successful workshop in the city of London. In 1989 he moved to the countryside and now offers his skills from his workshop in Lingen, Herefordshire. Paul has served the antiques trade, private collectors and interior designers for over thirty years and has a reputation for fine and sensitive restoration... Paul's passion for woodwork started when, as a son of a soldier based in Hong Kong, he used to watch the craftsmen in Kowloon making violins and guitars. "I loved the noisy chatter of the workshops, combined with the smell of the wood and lacquer coming from all of the instruments hanging from the ceiling" He later attended The Sacred Heart College in Droitwich where he spent many years admiring the splendid arts..
