Propel Cornwall is an initiative of Cornwall Marine Network, a private not-for-profit company owned by 351 local marine businesses in Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly. Our 28-strong team only exists to support improvements to the economic prosperity of the marine industry. Most of our support to the mainly SME industry is skills and training related and we have a track record without parallel in the UK marine sector, having enabled the creation of more than 3,000 new jobs in less than 12 years, including 1,200 new Apprenticeships through our subsidiary, the Cornwall Apprenticeship Agency. We are now the largest employer-owned marine cluster in the UK... Propel Cornwall aims to support those businesses to improve their skills, productivity and outputs, as well as the sector and industry as a whole to remain a leading exponent of marine knowledge and skills in the world.
