Lead data analyst Jimmy Masterson graduated with a Masters Degree in Accounting from The University of Georgia in 2010 and spent the first three years of his career working for KPMG in Atlanta, GA. He primarily focused on leading the data analytics teams for large scale forensic accounting projects.
He then moved to Denver, CO where he worked for RIA Financial, an online money transfer service. His role was to help build out the Business Intelligence group by creating a new enterprise data warehouse and migrating the BI reporting from SSRS.
Five years ago, he moved back to Atlanta, GA and began working for Ernst and Young. Here, he lead data analytics teams to support many practices within the firm. After a year in this role, he left to start his own practice, Simply Data Consulting. His investigation background combined with vast big data experience offers a unique skill set to analyze financial, operational, and marketing data.
