Amanda Taylor

Ms. Taylor has been with the firm since its formation in 2006 and has over two decades of experience in the alcoholic beverage industry. She advises on a wide range of nationwide alcoholic beverage compliance matters for our firm's diverse clientele, consisting of national restaurant and hotel chains, high end concessionaires and corporate caterers, as well as alcoholic beverage manufacturers and importers. Ms. Taylor graduated cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law where she also served as an editor on the Mitchell Hamline Law Review. Anne Marie Vassallo

We are also proud to have Anne Marie Vassallo associated with the Skene Law Firm as Of Counsel. Anne Marie Vassallo's practice consists primarily of alcohol beverage law, land use and zoning, as well as real estate transactions. She has represented small business owners as well as large developers and multi-tenant property owners in matters dealing with development and zoning approvals or with alcoholic beverage regulatory issues. Ms. Vassallo received her undergraduate degree in economics, summa cum laude, at Oregon State University, where she was an All-American gymnast. She received her juris doctor with honors from Rutgers School of Law-Camden, where she was a member of the law review. She also holds a Masters of City and Regional Planning from Rutgers' Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. Ms. Vassallo was a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable John A. Sweeney, Assignment Judge of the Superior Court, Burlington County, New Jersey. She then served as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Dale R. Cathell of the Court of Appeals of Maryland. Ms. Farina began her career in the alcoholic beverage industry in 1999 at the Buchman Law Firm, LLC as a Legal Secretary. Ms. Farina then began working with Robert D. Skene as a Paralegal upon his formation of the Skene Law Firm, PC in 2006. Over the past two decades, Ms. Farina has cultivated relationships with nationwide clientele and alcoholic beverage agency regulators. Ms. Farina's background in the arts enables her to appreciate the unique demands placed upon clients in the innovative food and beverage, and entertainment industries. Ms. Farina is a Member of the New Jersey Bar and the New York Bar. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kean University and a Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall University School of Law. Lisa M. Miller, Esq.

Ms. Miller has been with the firm since 2011 and has over a decade of experience representing a diverse group of clients in commercial transactions and regulatory compliance. Since joining the firm, she has concentrated her practice in legal matters involving all tiers of the alcoholic beverage industry. Ms. Miller regularly advises national restaurant and hotel chains, corporate caterers, stadium and airport concessionaires, and foreign and domestic manufacturers, wholesalers and importers, as well as local and regional restauranteurs, packaged goods stores and beer and wine producers. She is well versed in trade practice laws and multi-state alcoholic beverage regulatory compliance and her background in complex commercial transactions has been an asset to the firm in advising clients in liquor licensing related matters arising from national mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring and divestiture transactions. Prior to joining the Skene Law Firm, Ms. Miller concentrated her practice in corporate transactions and intellectual property law. She also previously served as in-house counsel for leading firms in both the entertainment and technology sectors. Ms. Miller graduated magna cum laude from Rutgers University and received her Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School, where she served as a senior editor of the Brooklyn Law Review. She is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
