We have noticed many farmers second sons working in the city and horticulture and agricultural students not becoming food growers, this is a tragedy so we can offer a way for these people to be able to grow top quality food in spare buildings and urban settings in industrial units. This can massively reduce food miles and create food security for the UK and as a by-product, it is an efficient, green technology that will create both rural and urban jobs... As a community spur of Aponic Ltd, we can offer state of the art, enabling technology that will create a low input, high value output method of food production that is scalable and commercially viable with easy entry... We supply the growing equipment and support to allow unused land and buildings to be used to grow fruit, vegetables, salad crops, herbs and cut flowers without the need to own large acreage of land.
