John Kofi Baisie

Mr. Baisie was appointed to the Stanbic Bank Ghana Board on June 7, 2022. Career Highlights John has held engineering and operations leadership roles over three decades in the United States. He is currently in a leadership role at Apple Inc. in Silicon Valley, California. In his leadership roles in various companies, John has led international technology transfers, digital transformation initiatives, global supplier negotiations and operations strategies. He started his career designing and building automated manufacturing lines; for TRW a major supplier in the automotive industry, producing crash airbag sensors, for JBL - a top audio systems company, for Rain Bird - a leading sprinkler and irrigations systems company. At Rain Bird, John rose through the ranks to General Manager, running several manufacturing operations in the United States, Europe and Mexico. After serving as Director of Operations at Gibraltar Industries and Senior SSP Aerospace, he joined Apple. At Apple, John initially led a sustaining engineering team where he expanded the team's influence internationally. He currently leads the Modules Components Group - a team of Manufacturing Design Engineers and Manufacturing Quality Engineers. He also leads an Inclusion and Diversity initiative at Apple. John Kofi Baisie holds a master's degree In Business Administration from The Paul Merage School of Business, University of California, Irvine. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (cum laude) in Engineering Technology and Operations Management from California Polytechnic University.

Kwamina was appointed to the Stanbic Bank Board in 2010. He is currently the Chief Executive after serving as the Head of Corporate and Investment Banking for eleven years. Career Highlights Kwamina began his professional career in 1997 at Cal Merchant Bank in Accra, where he was a member of the Corporate Finance and Private Equity team developing financial models to analyze acquisitions, mergers and divestitures. In 2001, he joined J. Kofi Bucknor and Associates, where he provided strategic and financial advisory services to multinational corporations, Governments and high net-worth clients. He also had a stint with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Washington, DC while pursuing his MBA at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. In 2004, Kwamina joined JPMorgan Chase Bank in New York as an Associate, High Yield Credit Research. He moved to the Leveraged Finance Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co in New York in 2006 and was later promoted to Vice President in 2007. He is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Chirano Gold Mines (a subsidiary of Kinross Gold Corporation, Canada) and a former member of the Management Committee for the University of Ghana Business School. Kwamina, who is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant, holds a Master's Degree in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Ghana. He has also completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at Harvard Business School.

Career Highlights He is the current Standard Bank Regional Chief Executive for West Africa with over 22 years' work experience in various roles in the group. He was the Head, Client Coverage, Africa Regions prior to his role as the Regional Chief Executive for West Africa. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) from the Rand Afrikaans University in South Africa. He has also completed the Advanced Strategic Management Program at the IMD Business School in Switzerland and is a Chartered Accountant.
