ST THOMAS PRE SCHOOL

We provide care and education for young children below school age and over the age of 2. We take children on the Government 2 year old offer scheme and EEE funded 3 and 4 year olds... We provide a healthy snack each day for the children which promotes independence, self choice and fine motor skills as well as encouraging social and language development. Parents are notified each week what is available at snack time. We do have children who have allergies so we promote a nut free environment. Our popular lunch club is available five days a week. It is a social time when children can sit and eat and chat together with staff. We find this prepares them for when they start at school. We promote healthy eating and will provide parents with a guide of suitable foods and drinks to include in their child's lunch... All staff are qualified to Level 3 or equivalent.
