Fran Gordon is the owner and founder of the company, which was established in 1988. Fran's background is comprised of obtaining his Associate's degree in Architectural Engineering from Franklin Institute of Technology in Boston, he obtained his B.S Arch. Eng. from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston and post graduate studies at The Boston Architectural Center.
After graduation, Fran worked as a Structural Engineer with companies such as Metcalf & Eddy, Chas. T. Main and United Engineers and Constructors, before forming his own company.
During the past 24 years, West End Design Concepts has designed and built a variety of residential additions, renovations, kitchens/baths to large custom houses. The company prides itself on the ability to take an outdated house and create a modern functional residence without compromising its architectural character. Fran's structural background allows him to design spaces without engaging third party professionals, at a substantial savings for the homeowner.
