Ben Dyer - (Executive Director) was appointed on 2 nd November 2020. Ben qualified as a solicitor with Waltons and Morse, London and spent 8 years as an FD&D lawyer with 3 of the leading P&I Clubs, Gard (UK), Bilbrough's and Steamship Mutual, London. Ben transferred to the underwriting department of Steamship Mutual in 2004 where until joining Justships Ltd in November 2020 he has been an underwriting director since 2010.

Jeff O'Neill

Jeff O'Neill - (Non Executive Director) was appointed on 30 th April 2018. Having trained with Price Waterhouse, Jeff qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993. He was latterly the Finance Director at North of England P&I Association Ltd. until his retirement from executive employment in 2017 . In addition to being responsible for the financial operations of the North Group including accounting, IT, treasury, credit control and investment management Jeff was Chairman of the International Group Regulatory Affairs Committee responsible for industry liaison with UK government departments, UK and overseas regulators and the EU in the development of the EU Solvency 2 Directive and UK adoption thereof. Jeff is continuing his professional career in a non-executive director capacity.

Stephen H. Purvis - Managing Director

Stephen H. Purvis - (Managing Director) established Justships Ltd in 2011 after an extensive career with 2 of the leading P&I Clubs - Gard, Norway and The North of England P&I Association Ltd, Newcastle upon Tyne. A Barrister by training Stephen Purvis set up the FD&D department at the North of England in 1989 and developed it into one of the largest and most respected FD&D insurers worldwide.

Timothy J. Nichol

Timothy J. Nichol - (Non Executive Director) was appointed on 30th April 2012. Timothy qualified with Coopers and Lybrand as a qualified accountant in London and after 22 years in the senior management of the Newcastle Business School was appointed as Dean of the Liverpool Business School in August 2015. His particular areas of interest are financial reporting and governance, with emphasis on the Board and the private company sector.
