I as your colonel and friend ask you and your company members to stay the course with honor and dignity, not engage these individuals or groups who are spreading messages of hate and violence, and continue to carry our banner of historical preservation and the promotion of the understanding of the role of the common soldier in the War Between the States... Any Confederate reenacting unit within our area of operations is welcome to become a part of the 9th Battalion Blue Ridge Grays.
