Ashley has been living in Colorado for 28 years and is originally from Lansdale PA. She loves interacting with patients and going the extra mile to help in any way possible. Ashley treats patients as if they were family, making them feel comfortable and at ease!
In Ashley's spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family!
Chelsea is originally from Michigan but has lived in Colorado most of her life. She strives towards providing patients with a welcoming environment and greeting people with a smile.
Chelsea enjoys helping patients and connecting with them as well. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband and 2 children and is an avid concertgoer.

Dr. Caleb Bennett, Au.D, is thrilled to bring his expertise to the team at Apex and make an impact on the lives of his patients through evidence-based hearing healthcare. Dr. Bennett completed his Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia before earning his Doctorate of Audiology at Syracuse University.
Dr. Bennett prides himself on forging a personal connection with his patients to better understand the unique challenges they face and determine an individually tailored solution to overcome them. He specializes in the latest in hearing technology, aural rehabilitation, adult diagnostics, and tinnitus retraining therapy.
Dr. Bennett enjoys his free time by baking bread, tending to his houseplants, and exploring the beautiful state of Colorado with his partner, Sydney, and their Australian shepherd, Sadie.
Dr. Joel Hart, Au.D., has lived in Colorado Springs for 5 years and is excited to have joined the Apex team. He earned his Doctorate of Audiology from Pacific University and graduated from Harding University with a Bachelor of Arts.
Dr. Hart specializes in diagnosing and treating hearing loss, as well as working with the latest in hearing aid technology, Bluetooth connectivity, and assistive streaming devices to enhance patient's quality of life through improved hearing. Dr. Hart loves the challenges that come with each patient's unique case and treats them with the utmost of care and respect.
He was raised in the Pacific Northwest but is excited to call Colorado his home. He and his wife, Taylor, have 3 young children: Gracie, Jackson, and Madelyn. He enjoys watching just about all sporting events, playing golf, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
Florina Taylor is originally from California but moved to Colorado from Iceland in 1993 along with her children and husband who was retiring from the Air Force at the time. She began working as an office manager in 1994 with Bill and Alice Herholtz in the Canon City clinic and continued there for 23 years.
Florina is passionate about helping people with a hearing impairment to improve their life with the help of hearing devices. She is knowledgeable and skilled in the hearing health industry and provides excellent patient care.
Florina has been married to her husband, Jerry, for 43+ years. They have 3 children, 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and their dog, Sheila. They love family get-togethers along with motorcycling and ATV riding in the great outdoors of Colorado.
Kristin was born and raised in a small town in Alabama. In following her passion for graphic design, Kristin took an intern position that moved her out to Colorado Springs in September 2018. After a few months of living here, she fell in love with the state of Colorado and
made it her new home. As a new member of the Apex Audiology team, Kristin loves working with and getting to know all of our patients.
Kristin loves being creative and enjoys hiking, watching college football, and hanging out with her friends.
Rachael Roberts moved to Colorado in 2010 from Florida, although she grew up in Arkansas. She began working with Dr. Herholtz in 2013 and has proven to be a very valuable asset to our practice.
She has a passion for providing excellent service to our patients and is very knowledgeable about routine repairs and hearing aid troubleshooting. Rachael enjoys hiking and fishing in the great outdoors as well as music.

Mr. DeHaan has been running hearing clinics in Colorado for over 20 years. He concentrates on the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss and tinnitus. In addition, Mr. DeHaan specializes in dispensing the latest digital hearing instruments from a variety of the best manufacturers in the world.
As a second-generation hearing health provider with over 20 years of experience, Mr. DeHaan has the expertise and compassion to bring you world-class hearing care. He takes great pride in caring for each patient as if they were family.
Mr. DeHaan has been married to his wife, Tricia, since 2006. They have 3 children and a black lab. They are members of First Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs. They enjoy skiing, hiking, camping, fishing, live music, and their Colorado sports teams.
