AREEJ TURKI ALSAUD

Areej Turki Alsaud is the second daughter of seven. Her parents Nourah and Turki travelled often with the family. Turki was a fighter pilot and as his career became more established he moved for work, first to England when Areej was five, and then to Montgomery Alabama when she was 9. Born in Saudi; living internationally change her perception of the world. The family moved back to Saudi when Areej was 10, and it remains her home to this day. Still having a taste for international travel, she now takes her own family and her three boys with her as she explores what the world has to offer. Each place she goes just reinforces her ties to her homeland, as well as opening her eyes to the international art scene. A constant student, she earned her undergraduate degree in graphic design in London, has taken individual art courses in California and Italy, and completed her masters degree in painting from the academy of arts in San Francisco.
