Anna L. Bartow, M.D. has practiced internal medicine in Asheville since 2005.
She is a Board Certified Internist as well as a Board Certified Pediatrician. She graduated from the University of Virginia with Phi Beta Kappa honors. She attended the University of Tennessee School of Medicine, then completed her dual residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Clinical interests include cardiovascular disease, hypertension, preventive health and patient safety.
Dr. Bartow is committed to helping patients succeed in maintaining their well being through healthy choices. She is married and has two children. She loves spending time with her family, reading, music, comedy, exercise and long walks with friends. She is honored to serve the Asheville community as a member of Ashewell.
Dr. Anna Bartow joined Ashewell in 2019. Dr. Bartow is a highly skilled and respected Internist and pediatrician who has proudly served the community of Asheville for 15 years. Dr. Bartow is known for her detail oriented and thorough approach. She is warm, and extremely funny. Dr. Bartow is devoted to her family and has a rowdy pack of pups who rule the roost.
In 2022, Ananda Vieages, MD, joined Ashewell bringing a wealth of primary care experience to the practice. Dr. Vieages is spirited and focused on bettering the wellness of her patients. She is a skilled provider of holistic care to families. She has two incredible daughters, and when not working is hitting the gym or trails on her mountain bike.

Carly Brown, M.D. is a Board Certified Internist and the founder of Ashewell Medical Group, P.A.
Ashewell was born from a desire to overcome the obstacles that prevent us from giving and receiving the care we deserve. Dr. Brown sees each person as distinct and enjoys helping patients reach their healthcare goals. She brings outstanding education, training and a wealth of experience to her patients.
Dr. Brown was awarded Small Business Leader of the Year by the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce in 2019. In 2020, she was awarded the North Carolina Dogwood Award, by Attorney general, Joshua Stein.

Carolyn holds a BA in music and has been a licensed massage therapist for 25 years. She brings a wealth of varied experience to Ashewell.
She loves gardening and playing outside with her daughter, husband, and odd little bully dog, Potato. She's enjoyed attending and assisting with breathwork retreats for the past nine years, and currently is developing a small group practice.
Keri is a calm, kind, experienced nurse and mom of two boys. Her help is invaluable to Ashewell and we're so glad to have her.

The practice of medicine should be about healing and relationships-essentials for all human beings! Dr. Lechner listens compassionately and thinks holistically. Special interests include whole-family care, preventative medicine, lifestyle modifications, contraception counseling, mental health management, gender-affirming care, in-office procedures, end-of-life transitions and equity in healthcare.
Dr. Lechner was drawn to Asheville by the abundant nature and wonderful local community. In addition to spending time with her husband and two daughters, she enjoys running, yoga, reading, eating delicious food and connecting deeply with friends.
