Christine graduated from Edith Serei in 1986 with a diploma in Aesthetics. In 2009 she decided to upgrade her skills and earned her diploma in Medical Aesthetics at North American College. Her friendly demeanor, wealth of knowledge and experience garnered her a position teaching the Medical Aesthetics program at the College for the next three and a half years. She met Dr. Golger through a mutual friend and saw the opportunity to work with him as a wonderful learning experience as well as one for personal growth. She also feels joining Dr. Golger's team, will give her a chance to work one on one with each client and their individual needs, which is what she feels is her strongest attribute . Dr. Alexander Golger, B.Ed., MD, FRCS(C), is a gifted Toronto plastic surgeon who has completed many years of advanced training at prestigious universities and hospitals.

Dr. Romy grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba before embarking on his undergraduate studies at Western University. Upon completing his pre-medical studies with high distinctions and honours, he returned to Winnipeg to attend medical school at the prestigious Faculty of Medicine, University of Manitoba.
After 4 years of rigorous medical school studies, he was accepted into one of two highly coveted positions at Western University, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency Program. Throughout his residency training, Dr. Romy was continually praised for his outstanding surgical talent, good bedside manners and his compassionate character.

Elona has worked in the medical aesthetics industry for over 5 years. After completing a Bachelor of Commerce from York University, she became certified as an Aesthetician through Humber College where she achieved the highest overall honours average in her graduating class. Since then, Elona has gained experience and expertise in medical grade facial and laser treatments.
With an immense passion for the industry and a desire to expand her scope of practice into cosmetic injectables, Elona became a Registered Practical Nurse, graduating from George Brown College. She brings a combined knowledge of medical aesthetic treatments and cosmetic nursing.
Elona's mission is to remain up-to-date in the industry by continuously educating herself. She is committed to providing evidence-based treatments.
After being introduced to Dr. Golger in 2012 through a colleague in the field, Josie has been appointed the Medical Practice Manager at Avenue Plastic Surgery in Toronto and Whitby. She is highly qualified for her position at our clinic because of her past career positions. Josie has almost 30 years of working experience in the medical field, in which 20 years have been specific to the plastic and cosmetic surgery field.
With her many years of experience, knowledge and expertise, Josie's main focus is to help patients throughout their planning and self-improvement process. She genuinely cares for the patients and loves working with them, making her work at Avenue Plastic Surgery truly rewarding when she sees a positive transformation both physically and emotionally as patients reach their aesthetic goals. Melanie is a certified Medical Aesthetician who specializes in facial and laser treatments. She is passionate in working with clients who suffer from acne and post acne scars. She has been in the aesthetics industry for over 3 years. Melanie graduated at the top of her class at Canadian Beauty College, in the Medical Aesthetics Diploma Program, as well as successfully completed various certificate courses to further her skills in aesthetics. She is dedicated to continuing education, and keeping up with the quickly evolving aesthetic industry. She attends annual seminars and training events to gain new insight on the most up to date research and technology.
Prior to her career in aesthetics, Melanie studied Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly known as Ryerson). She combines the knowledge from her studies in psychology, with her skills in aesthetics to provide an empathetic and sensitive approach with clients struggling with their skin concerns.

Michelle is a distinguished professional specializing in neuromodulators and dermal fillers, advanced skin and facial treatments and services.
Michelle has worked in the Medical Aesthetics industry for over 15 years, beginning when she first obtained her CIDESCO Diploma from Lam School of Advanced Esthetics. The CIDESCO Diploma is the world's prestigious qualification for Aesthetics and Beauty Therapy which has set international standards since 1957. After working in a leading Durham Region Medical Spa, Michelle went on to earn her nursing diploma from Durham College in 2011 and has been working closely with Dr. Golger since 2013 at his Oshawa and Toronto locations.
In addition to her nursing and medical aesthetic qualifications, Michelle is valued for her compassionate spirit and comforting approach to the client experience. Her passion for top-notch aesthetic beauty and results makes clients feel at ease as she takes great care to educate and inform them throughout the process. She is committed to ensuring each client feels confident in her services from the first meeting and in post-treatment follow-up care.
When it comes to medical esthetics, Pauline loves to give her clients natural looking improvements without looking overdone.
A well-rounded injector with over 17 years of injecting and aesthetic experience and education, Pauline has received advanced training from Allergan, Canderm and other major pharmaceutical companies. She is proficient with Botox, hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvéderm and Revanesse; other synthetic dermal fillers including Radiesse and Sculptra; and collagen fillers, such as Evolence.
In addition, Pauline is trained to use many types of lasers and light therapies to help clients achieve specific desired results. She is also skilled in using Sclerotherapy, electrodessication and ablative laser.
Pauline completed a three-year program at Durham College and passed provincial licensing to become a Registered Nurse. She continued to pursue additional courses and became certified in Coronary and Critical Care.
On a personal note, Pauline loves animals and nature and is passionate about her fur babies. In her leisure, she enjoys a good hike, a captivating movie or book, and a galss of fine wine.
Shilan has been with Avenue Plastic Surgery since 2011. Shilan shows great compassion towards her patients, has an eagerness to learn and has a desire to help patients reach their goals. Witnessing the physical and psychological transformations of patients has truly inspired Shilan and made her career with Avenue Plastic Surgery more rewarding.
Outside of the clinic Shilan enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Tammi is a new member of the avenue plastic surgery team. Tammi started her career in healthcare in 2011 as a psw, her compassion and nurturing characteristics inspired her to help those in need. After 10 years as a psw Tammi decided to change careers and try a new career path, becoming a medical office administrator. After finding a position at Avenue Plastic Surgery Tammi takes her knowledge and compassion in helping and guiding patients through their experiences with pride. In Tammi's spare time she loves being at the cottage and outdoors and spending time with her significant other and her fur babies.
