Michael Benson is an Attorney having received his Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2004, and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) having received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1997. Mr. Benson is one of a few attorneys who have passed the Bar exam, CPA exam, and the Series 7 exam to become a licensed stockbroker. Prior to law school, he worked at the international securities firms of EdwardJones and A.G. Edwards responsible for external financial reporting to the SEC, stock and commodity exchanges and shareholders, and has prepared tax returns at a St. Louis CPA firm. Upon graduation from law school, he started his own law practice focusing on estate planning and divorce law, and has administered dozens of mediations. For the last 10 years Mr. Benson has assisted thousands of clients file for bankruptcy relief. Mr. Benson sincerely enjoys helping to improve the lives of those in his community and has found that his legal and financial skills can greatly assist those seeking bankruptcy protection.
