Cynthia is the Executive Assistant of BlackEagle. Cynthia is well versed in managing BlackEagle's resources and is responsible for a variety of administrative and back-office operations including scheduling and coordinating with third-party contractors, vendors and clients; accounting, client invoicing and accounts payables; and monthly payroll and employee benefits.

Debra Morgan - CEO, Founder

Debra is the founder and CEO of BlackEagle. A real estate executive with over $10 billion in real estate transactions, Debra has expertise in acquisitions, portfolio management, recapitalizations, and the restructuring and disposition of over-leveraged real estate and distressed debt. Debra is a strategic thinker with strong operating and property management relationships across asset classes and geography, capital markets, alternative lenders, CMBS lenders and servicers, attorneys, and consultants. Debra is a frequent speaker on commercial real estate topics and has served many leadership roles in the finance and real estate trade industries. Prior to forming BlackEagle, Debra was Managing Director at one of the leading commercial real estate service companies. Debra oversaw the management of large loan, distressed CMBS and bankruptcy portfolios as well as participated in the placement of over $400 million in fund equity for the firm. Debra has also held the roles of Vice President at Beal Bank and J.E. Robert Companies. Debra earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas.

John Morgan - President

John is the President of BlackEagle. John has over 20 years of investment experience spanning a wide range of investments, including leveraged loans, high yield bonds, publicly traded equities, and real estate debt and equity. Mr. Morgan's expertise includes analyzing and valuing investment opportunities; understanding, evaluating and modeling cash flows, capital structures, waterfalls, and investor returns; structuring, negotiating and reviewing loan documents, bond indentures and equity documents, including LLC and partnership agreements; restructuring stressed and distressed loans and bonds via loan amendments or bankruptcies; and monitoring and monetizing investments. Prior to BlackEagle, John was a Partner and Senior Portfolio Manager at Highland Capital Management and an analyst at Falcon Fund. Mr. Morgan earned his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Southern Methodist University. John has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
