BRAWLEY DENTAL CLINIC - Key Persons

On June 1, 2015, Dr. Kari Brawley bought the clinic from Dr. Larry Hatfield. Hatfield Dental Clinic then became Brawley Dental Clinic. Dr. Brawley had worked at the office for 9 years prior to the purchase. Dr. Brawley was born and raised in Smithville, Texas. She graduated from Smithville High School in 1998. She then went to Southwest Texas State University, now known as Texas State University, where she received the degree of Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2002. Dr. Brawley entered dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in May 2005. Dr. Brawley currently resides in La Grange with her husband Curtis and their daughters Kylin and Kyndal. Curtis is currently the office manager, while Kylin attends LGISD Elementary and Kyndal attends Mt. Calvary Lutheran Preschool. Dr. Brawley is an active member of the community. She currently resides on the La Grange ISD School Board of Trustees. She is also a member of several other organizations, including the Texas Women's League, Texas Dental Association, and American Dental Association. In her spare time, Dr. Brawley enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also likes reading, hiking, and playing with her labrador retriever, Lybi. Dr. Brawley is very dedicated to creating outstanding smiles and good oral health for her patients, with a gentle touch.

Jamie Murphy was born and raised in La Grange, TX and is the daughter of Pat and Mary Janca. Jamie graduated La Grange High School in 2005 and went on to earn her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Wharton County Junior College in 2008. Jamie joined our practice in 2019, but prior to that she commuted and worked in Bastrop for the last 11 years. Jamie and her husband, Shane Murphy of La Grange, were married in 2012. They reside here in La Grange along with their two children. Their daughter Langley is 6 and their son Landry is 3 ½. Jamie and her family delight in spending as much time outdoors as possible, enjoying their newly built home and working on their land. She also enjoys watching football, baseball and spending time at deer camp.
