Alex ei Ratnikov - Managing Director

Mr. Ratnikov has over 20 years of international experience in corporate finance and supports Chiron's European and special situations business. Alexei Ratnikov joined Chiron Financial LLC in 2022 to support their European and special situations business, as well as assist with business development efforts in the U.S. Mr. Ratnikov has over 20 years of international experience in corporate finance, restructuring, M&A and strategy, as well as private equity and capital raising. He has extensive expertise across various industries with a particular focus on metals and mining, energy, and oilfield services. Most recently, Mr. Ratnikov held a CFO role at OFS International LLC, a middle-market oilfield service company. He played a pivotal role in a successful Chapter 11 reorganization, raising debtor-in-possession and exit financing, and restructuring around $80 MM in liabilities. Over his 10 years tenure as a CFO, Alexei has completed multiple M&A transactions, supported strategic development and ten-fold revenue growth, and raised more than $100 MM in debt financing. Prior to moving to the U.S. in 2012, Mr. Ratnikov held various corporate finance and business development positions at TMK Group, one of the largest global steel pipe producers. He directly contributed to raising $1.1 B of equity capital during the IPO on London Stock Exchange, launching an ADR program on OTCQX in New York, completing a $1.7 B acquisition of production assets in the U.S., and raising over $2 B in public debt financing. Over these years, Mr. Ratnikov built extensive relationships with corporations, investment and corporate banking advisors, and institutional investors across both sides of the Atlantic. Mr. Ratnikov started his career in a private equity firm, the Sputnik Group, where he covered companies in various industries, including fertilizing, insurance, media, and more.

Ernie is a trusted advisor for Chiron with over 30 years of vast legal experience, as well as experience in both the health and insurance industries with significant leadership roles throughout his career. Ernie has been DHR Health System's General Counsel since 2019. DHR is the largest physician-owned hospital in the country. Prior to joining DHR, Mr. Aliseda was a partner in the national law firm of Dykema, where he focused on representing financial institutions and corporations in commercial litigation, as well as serving as a mediator and arbitrator in personal injury, commercial and international litigation matters. Before that, Ernie served as the Chief Legal Officer for the Loya Insurance Group, a full-service insurance company for eight years, supporting their expansion from Texas, into New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Nevada, California, Missouri, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. Ernie is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves, Judge Advocate General Corps, where he last served as an Army Trial Judge(1999-2019). He is also a retired State District Judge, having served both the 398th and 139th State District Courts in Texas. In 2008 and 2009, he was called to active military duty in support of Operation Enduring Freedom with the XVIII Airborne Corps. Upon his return, Mr. Aliseda was appointed by the Governor of Texas to serve as a Commissioner on the Texas Military Preparedness Commission. He later resigned this appointment to serve on the University of Texas System Board of Regents, where he served from 2013 to 2019. Mr. Miller brings over 30 years' experience in investment banking, private equity and structured finance in multiple sectors, including energy and energy transition. He has advised middle market companies and global corporations as well as their stakeholders in complex venture capital, growth equity, buyout and financial restructuring transactions. Prior to joining Chiron, he was a senior investment director with Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures, the corporate venture arm of the Saudi Aramco Group, the world's leading integrated energy company. He was responsible for identifying and executing investments in North American companies of strategic importance with a focus on upstream and downstream oil & gas, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and water technologies. He was also a Managing Director at Perseus, LLC, a private equity and merchant banking firm with over $2.0 billion in capital commitments. He played an important role in raising the Perseus Partners VII, LP fund and served on the boards of Chroma Energy, Inc., Distributed Energy Systems Corp. Cimarron Energy is a portfolio company of Turnbridge Capital Partners. In his role as CFO of Diverse, Mr. Hass was responsible for all treasury management functions, established systems and workflow processes and grew the company to over $50 million revenues in three years. Tom has spent nearly 40 years in a wide variety of corporate and investment banking roles, advising and financing companies in complex situations. Valentin Echevin

Mr. Echevin is an analyst in our Paris office, where he supports the financing, sale, and FA assignments of clients while conducting market, industry, and company research. Prior to joining Chiron, Valentin began their career in the finance sector, completing a six-month internship at Kartesia, a private debt manager in Brussels, Belgium. They then spent two years at CACIB in Frankfurt, Germany, working within the large-cap leveraged finance team of the investment banking arm of Crédit Agricole. There, Valentin specialized in providing LBO financing to private equity clients across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Their responsibilities included monitoring portfolios, analyzing due diligence documentation and financial reports, building financial models, preparing internal credit papers, and presenting them to senior management during credit committees. Valentin is fluent in both French and English, with an intermediate proficiency in German. Outside of work, they are an avid runner, currently training for the 2025 Paris Marathon with a target time of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Valentin also has a keen interest in global affairs and politics and regularly reads The Economist.

Mr. Nguyen is a financial executive with over 30 years of experience in global capital markets, wealth management, product and business development. Zung T. Nguyen is a financial executive with over 30 years of experience in global capital markets, wealth management, product and business development. His clients range from central banks, multi-national corporations, state and local governments, financial institutions, investment managers, endowments, foundations, and ultra-wealthy families. Over his career, he held a variety of leadership positions in global capital markets, portfolio management, and product development with the Federal Home Loan Banks, ING-Barings (USA), American Century Investments and JP Morgan. At JP Morgan, he was part of the team that started Morgan Bank (Delaware). Thereafter, he was assigned to JP Morgan Securities, where he held senior management positions in securities underwriting and was later a member of the global management team for the firm's fixed income and foreign exchange businesses. After 13 years at JP Morgan, Mr. Nguyen joined ING Barings to head up the firm's emerging market FX business in North America. Mr. Nguyen was recruited to join American Century Investments where he developed the investment advisory business for major DC plan sponsors. Upon returning to JP Morgan, Mr. Nguyen was a Senior Banker in the private bank, managing one of the most successful wealth management offices on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Mr. Nguyen thereafter joined Athena Capital Advisors, a SEC registered RIA catering to ultra-wealthy families and institutions, to open the firm's New York City office. He retired from Athena and started ZTN Capital Consulting in the Fall of 2015. Mr. Nguyen received his BA in economics and psychology from Washington College (WC) and his MBA from George Washington University (GWU). He lectured in finance at GWU and University of Delaware earlier in his career and is a frequent speaker at various investment forums. Mr. Nguyen is an experienced and active FINRA Dispute Resolution Arbitrator. He is an emeritus trustee of WC and member of a Vatican based foundation, Centesimus Annus Pro Pontifice. Mr. Nguyen is on the Board of Simplify Exchange Traded Funds (ETF). Mr. Nguyen and his wife live in Morristown, New Jersey and they have three adult children. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, traveling and playing golf.
