Bruce Cole started in the construction industry remodeling houses in NY at the age of 13 and since then has become proficient in almost every aspect of the home building process. He has held a State Certified General Contractor license since 1987 and holds a State Certified Home Inspectors license as well. In 1993 he was appointed to the Structural Sub-committee for the South Florida Building Code and is the only known person to get a code removed from that code. Subsequently, Bruce was asked to lend his expertise to the Building Code re-write/revision committee charged with consolidating the various building codes around the state of Florida into a single, statewide Building Code. Bruce Cole's career spans just about every home construction category. In 2008, he capitalized on his expertise to open Cole Additions and Remodeling but his vision soon expanded and Cole Homes was born. To date, Bruce has "built" over a thousand homes throughout Central Florida ranging from 1,200 to over 8,000 square feet-with no end in sight.
