Dave Coleman is the founder and Managing Partner at Coleman Legal and is nationally and internationally recognised for his expertise on a wide range of legal issues such as Multi-Party Actions, Personal Litigation, Sexual Abuse, and Public and Administrative Law. Experience He has over 30 years of experience and is considered as one of the most experienced solicitors in Ireland in multi-party litigation and has overseen a significant number of important and topical multi-party actions including Hepatitis C cases, institutional sexual abuse cases, property defect cases, and more recently Facebook moderator cases, Larium cases, vaginal mesh implant cases, and various other catastrophic injury cases. Dave Coleman and his team have advised groups on a national basis on the following matters: DePuy Hip Replacement, a substantial group of bondholders in an action against ACC Bank, a large number of claimants living in a housing estate affected by defective blocks, a group of individuals in the Michael Shine sexual abuse case and various other multi-party actions. Diane Treanor is a Senior Solicitor at Coleman Legal and has a wide knowledge and extensive experience with Sexual Abuse law, Medical Negligence Claims, and Human Rights law. Diane's approach is to assist her clients through the often difficult process of litigation as smoothly as possible. She understands that clients have been through stressful and often traumatic experiences. Experience Diane manages a varied caseload including personal injuries, general litigation, medical negligence law, multi-party action, historical abuse claims, public liability, and historical sexual abuse cases. Prior to specialising in litigation, Diane gained extensive experience working in General Practice providing a comprehensive range of legal services to the public. Diane also volunteers with FLAC in her spare time. Recent Cases Diane is currently advising Multi-Party Plaintiffs in the Northwest audiology scandal. She is also a lead Solicitor in the European Facebook Moderator case in Dublin. With many medical negligence and sexual abuse cases, Diane's workload is both sensitive and supportive of her clients. Education Diane qualified solicitor with an LLB Honours degree from Griffith College, Dublin. Kathrin Coleman

Kathrin Coleman is a Senior Litigation Solicitor at Coleman Legal. She is a specialist in the areas of Clinical Litigation, Personal Injury Law to include sexual assault and historical abuse, general Professional Negligence, Defamation and Employment Law. Experience Kathrin has built up a wealth of experience in most areas of High Court Litigation . She runs a busy private client litigation desk and has successfully litigated against large organisations including the state and major religious institutions. She has also successfully represented clients in some of the biggest jury awards in Irish legal history and would regularly act for individuals and families during inquests or inquiries. Recent Cases Kathrin is currently involved in a major multi-party action in relation to a product liability claim regarding the defective vaginal mesh implants. She also acts for individuals who have suffered loss as a consequence of the advice or actions of others. Kathrin is also advising a large group of families of their rights regarding the standard of care which is required in pre-school childcare services such as crèches, Montessori groups and Playschool facilities. Education Kathrin began her career with Lavelle Coleman in 1999, and graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2003 with an Honours Masters Degree in English Literature and French with a further Honours post-graduate business qualification from the Smurfit Business School in 2004. As a dual citizen of Ireland and Germany, Kathrin is also a bi-lingual German speaker with a qualification in Legal German. Keith Rolls leads Coleman Legal LLP South, an experienced Litigation solicitor. Keith is based in Tralee, Co. Kerry and represents clients throughout the Munster Region. Keith is a highly experienced Solicitor working in our Munster Department. Since qualifying in 2016, he has specialised in personal injury and has gained significant, progressive experience in acting for clients in complex medical negligence, dental negligence and sexual abuse matters. Keith also has considerable experience in mediation and arbitration. Keith is the lead solicitor in the country in relation to mental illness. He is currently working with up to 400 families throughout the country who have suffered deficits in care while attending the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Adult Mental Health Services (AMHS).

Starting his legal career in New York as an attorney, Norman gained extensive experience as a litigator both at home and abroad. Having had a military career that spanned 12 years' service, Norman has also brought his experience into his role at Coleman Legal, where he works on a number of high-profile multi-party cases. Norman heads up claims arising out of the administration of Lariam, Illegal Adoption cases, Scouting Ireland - Sexual Abuse, and the Mother and Baby Homes. Norman takes a client-centered approach to his work and prides himself on his ability to communicate effectively with his clients in what are often difficult circumstances. Norman is a graduate of Dublin Business School where he obtained an Honours Degree in Irish Law and also of UCD where he completed his Master's Degree in International Commercial Law in 2017.

Philip Treacy is a qualified solicitor with over 14 years of legal experience in the legal profession. In April 2019, Philip joined Coleman Legal where he is a member of the highly experienced Litigation team, with a combined team experience of well over one hundred years of practice. Experience Philip has represented many clients of our Firm and recently has achieved successful settlements for workplace injury cases, fatal injury claims, road traffic accidents, and historical clerical school sexual abuse claims. Most recently, Philip has also successfully made applications on behalf of clients to the State Ex-Gratia scheme for victims of historical day school abuse. Philip also represents Employees in Work-related cases to the Workplace Relations Commission. Before joining our Firm in 2019, Philip managed his own general Law Practice and he has brought to us the benefit of a wide range of post-qualification experience. Philip Treacy has successfully settled workplace injury cases, road traffic accidents, school sexual abuse claims, and have also successfully made an application to the State Ex-Gratia scheme for 4 victims of day school abuse.
