An innovative self-starter, Ms. Matesky has a dynamic record of success in sales and marketing. A top producer in outside sales, building relationships, client and territory management, and negotiations she brings excellent interpersonal skills and strong abilities for leading Copar's marketing and community outreach program.
Upon leaving Quinnipiac Business School, Ms. Matesky started as owner/manager of a quality marine supplies and service company where she implemented many marketing and sales programs to foster rapid growth. In 1999 she worked as an account executive for Goldwell of New England and within one year became a senior account executive responsible for leading and training a junior sales team. She was widely known for customer retention and business growth coaching.
Switching sales positions, Miss Matesky sold pharmaceutical equipment and supplies until 2009 as a leader in her company for Connecticut. As this company reduced its operations, Laura utilized her sales and marketing skills to launch her own photography business, Laura Matesky Photography. Within a year she was selling her photos to Getty Images and had built a strong portfolio of independent clients. Her work has been published in Inc. Magazine, the New Haven Register, The Middletown Press, the Bridgeport Post, Getty Images, Lincoln Center and Wesleyan University, as well as for book covers and other industry publications. She also has provided photography to the successful campaigns of Senators, State Representatives and Judges throughout Connecticut.
Neil Hoobler has been an owner in the clamshell dredge manufacturing business for 29 years and an officer and/or General Manager in two sand and gravel business for 30 years.
He has a Master of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Accounting and Business Administration. This industry experience, along with accounting, organizational, communication and leadership skills will help to ensure a smooth operation.
Mr. Cocopard is a results producing CEO who brings over 45 years of entrepreneurial experience and two generations of leadership to the aggregate and construction industries. He is exceptional at negotiations, customer relations, partnership building and joint venture agreements, and is knowledgeable in civil engineering principles. He is also a commercial/industrial construction expert on road building, aggregate based projects and environmental related clean-ups.
